The device provided by the present invention can increase the cooling rate and production efficiency, and improve product consistency.
Hot-dip coated steel sheet
The present invention relates to a method for the manufacture of a hot-dip coated steel sheet coated with a zinc or an aluminum based coating including the provision of a specific steel sheet, a recrystallization annealing with specific heating, soaking and cooling sub-steps using an inert gas and a hot-dip coating; the hot dip coated steel sheet and the use of the hot-dip coated steel sheet.
Continuous hot dip galvanizing apparatus
A continuous hot-dip galvanizing apparatus has a vertical annealing furnace, one or more hearth rolls, a hot-dip galvanizing apparatus, an alloying line, and humidified gas supply ports. When the steel sheet having a Si content of 0.2 mass % or more is conveyed inside the annealing furnace, the humidified gas supply ports positioned in a latter part of the soaking zone supply the humidified gas to the soaking zone and the at least one dry gas supply port supplies the dry gas to the soaking zone. When the steel sheet having a Si content of less than 0.2 mass % is conveyed inside the annealing furnace, the plurality of the humidified gas supply ports do not supply the humidified gas to the soaking zone and the at least one dry gas supply port supplies the dry gas to the soaking zone.
Temperature-control unit for a furnace device for heat treating a plate
The present invention relates to a temperature-control unit for a furnace device for heat treating a plate, in particular a metal plate. The temperature-control unit has a temperature-control body, which is arrangeable in a furnace chamber of the furnace device. The temperature-control body has a plurality of receiving bores. Furthermore, the temperature-control unit has a plurality of temperature-control pins, wherein the temperature-control pins are mounted in the receiving bores movably relative to the temperature-control body. The temperature-control pins are controllable in such a way that a temperature-control group of the temperature-control pins is extendable from the temperature-control body in the direction towards the plate, so that a thermal contact between the temperature-control group of the temperature-control pins and a predetermined temperature-control zone of the plate is generatable.
HEAT TREATMENT SYSTEM

CROSS-STRIP TEMPERATURE VARIATION CONTROL
To achieve a substantially uniform microstructure across a continuously cast thin metal strip, it is beneficial to cool a width of the strip to a substantially constant temperature before further cooling the strip to reach any desired phase transformation temperature. Accordingly, methods of continuously casting a thin metal strip may include moving the thin strip to a cooling section, the cooling section having a plurality of coolant discharge ports configured to discharge a flow of coolant along the thin strip; initially sensing the temperature of the thin strip to determine a temperature distribution across the width of the thin strip, and producing a sensor signal corresponding to a sensed temperature at each of the first plurality of locations; and individually controlling the cooling across a width of the thin strip by way of the plurality coolant discharge ports in each zone of a first row using the determined temperature distribution.
