Steel sheet coated with a metallic coating based on aluminum
A steel sheet with a metallic coating is provided. A composition of the metallic coating includes from 2.0 to 24.0% by weight of zinc, from 7.1 to 12.0% by weight of silicon, optionally from 1.1 to 8.0% by weight of magnesium, and optionally additional elements chosen from Pb, Ni, Zr, or Hf. The content by weight of each additional element is less than 0.3%. A balance of the composition is aluminum, unavoidable impurities and residual elements. A ratio Al/Zn is from 4.0 to 6.0.

A steel sheet with a metallic coating is provided. Galvanization analysis system
A computing device is described that is configured to analyze whether at least one structural member can be galvanized. In an implementation, the computing device includes a memory and a processor communicatively coupled to the memory. The computing device includes a module stored in memory and executable by the processor. The module is configured to instruct the processor to receive at least one structural member parameter. The structural member parameter is associated with a physical property of a structural member. The module is configured to analyze whether the structural member can be galvanized based upon the at least one structural member parameter.
METHOD FOR GALVANIZING OBJECTS USING A TROUGH
A method of galvanizing a workpiece. The method is performed using a trough. The trough includes connected walls configured to hold a molten galvanization material within the trough. The trough also includes a first end including a first gate system. The trough also includes a second end, opposing the first end, including a second gate system. The trough also includes a roller connected, inside the trough, to opposing inside walls of the connected walls. The trough also includes a sump disposed within the trough. The method also includes pumping the molten galvanization material into the sump until the molten galvanization material submerges the roller. The method also includes driving the workpiece through the first gate system, over the roller and through the molten galvanization material, and through the second gate system.
Continuous hot-dip galvanizing apparatus
Provided is a continuous hot-dip galvanizing apparatus comprising: a vertical annealing furnace having heating, soaking zone, and cooling zones therein; and a hot-dip galvanizing line downstream of the cooling zone. The heating, soaking, and cooling zones each have, in its upper portion, at least one upper hearth roll and, in its lower portion, at least one lower hearth roll. The soaking zone has a first and second humidified gas supply ports to supply a humidified gas having a dew point of 10? C. to 30? C. to the soaking zone. The first and second humidified gas supply ports are 1.0 m to 5.0 m lower than the center of the lower and upper hearth rolls, respectively, and overlap the steel sheet. The first humidified gas supply port is provided only for an ascending pass and the second humidified gas supply port is provided only for a descending pass.

Method For Producing an Ultra High Strength Galvannealed Steel Sheet and Obtained Galvannealed Steel Sheet
A method for producing a coated steel sheet having a tensile strength of at least 1450 MPa and a total elongation of at least 17% is provided. The method includes providing a cold rolled steel sheet having a chemical composition in weight %: 0.34%C0.45%, 1.50%Mn2.30%, 1.50%Si2.40%, 0%<Cr0.7%, 0%Mo0.3%, 0.10%Al0.7%, optionally 0%Nb0.05%, and a remainder of Fe and unavoidable impurities. The sheet is annealed at an annealing temperature higher than the Ac3 transformation point of the steel, quenched to a quenching temperature lower than the Ms transformation point of the steel and between 150 C. and 250 C., reheated to a partitioning temperature between 350 C. and 450 C., maintained at the partitioning temperature for at least 80 s, then coated by galvannealing, with an alloying temperature between 470 C. and 520 C. A steel sheet is also provided.

A pneumatic brake booster in which, for improving the sealing and simplifying the assembly of sealing elements, it is proposed that the booster housing in the bearing region of at least one sealing element has a metal coating having a surface roughness Ra>1.2.

The present invention provides a deformed part created by forming a coated metal sheet into a part, the coated metal sheet comprising a steel substrate, at least one face of which is coated with a metal coating deposited by dipping the substrate in a bath, said coating comprising between 0.2 and 0.7% by weight of Al, the remainder of the metal coating being Zn and inevitable impurities, wherein an outer surface of a metal coating of the deformed part has a waviness Wa0.8 of less than or equal to 0.43 ?m.
