A nail plate debris collection device for collecting nail trimmings includes a shell that defines an interior space. Each of a pair of openings is positioned in a respective opposing side of the shell. The opening extends from a top of the shell to proximate a midpoint of the respective opposing side to define a channel that extends between the opposing sides and a pocket that extends from a bottom of the shell to the channel. One of the pair of opening is configured to insert a digit of a user and the other of the pair of opening is configured to insert a nail care tool, positioning the user to perform maintenance on a nail plate of the digit. The pocket is configured to receive debris that is produced during the maintenance of the nail plate.

An electrically-powered nail cutting apparatus includes a housing having a front face and a rear face, two sides, a top and a bottom. The front face of the housing having an open slot at least 0.5 mm in height and between 0.7 cm and 4 cm in width, the slot having a front-facing opening and a rear-facing opening. Within the housing and proximal to the rear-facing opening is a vertically translating nail-cutting blade plate associated with an electric motor that is configured to translate the nail-cutting blade plate consecutively down and up. The blade plate is a solid material having an opening therein, wherein the top of the opening comprises a cutting blade with a cutting edge within the opening such that the cutting edge is adjacent the rear-facing element.

A nail clipping and collecting device includes a housing and a clipper. The housing defines an interior volume and includes first and second actuation mechanisms. The clipper is enclosed by the housing. The clipper includes a first support having an end with a first cutting edge and a second support movably connected to the first support and having an end with a second cutting edge. The clipper includes a first lever arm having a first portion coupled to the first support and a second portion having a first interfacing surface interfacing with the first actuation mechanism and a second lever arm having a first portion coupled to the second support and a second portion having a second interfacing surface interfacing with the second actuation mechanism. As the first and second actuation mechanisms are actuated, the clipper is brought from a first disengaged position to a second engaged position.

A multifunctional pet manicure device includes a nail clipper, a main handle and an auxiliary handle. The nail clipper includes a first blade and a second blade, the first blade is rotationally connected with the second blade, the first blade is fixedly connected with the main handle, and the second blade is fixedly connected with the auxiliary handle. The multifunctional pet manicure device further includes a nail polisher, wherein the nail polisher includes a driving member and a polishing head, the polishing head is connected to the driving member, and the driving member drives the polishing head to rotate.

A nail clipper includes a first main body, a second main body, a pressing plate, and a cover plate. The first main body includes a first clipper head, a first clipper body, a first baffle plate, and a second baffle plate. The first clipper head is fixedly connected to a first end of the first clipper body, the first baffle plate is disposed at a first side of the first clipper body, the second baffle plate is disposed at a second side of the first clipper body. A through hole is defined on the first clipper body, and the through hole is located between the first baffle plate and the second baffle plate. The second main body includes a second clipper head and a second clipper body.

A trimmings collecting nail clipping device for hygienic nail trimming includes a lower blade extending from a first end of a bottom plate. Pairs of first and second posts extend from the bottom plate proximate to the lower blade and a second end of the bottom plate, respectively. A first terminus of a center plate is engaged to the second posts distal from the bottom plate. The center plate extends between and past the first posts. An upper blade, which is engaged to the center plate, and the lower blade define a gap. A lever is hingedly engaged to the first posts distal from the bottom plate. Upon levering of the lever, a nail positioned in the gap is severed. A panel is engageable to the bottom plate to define an interior space that receives a clipping generated upon severing of the nail.

A nail clipper includes a cutting unit which includes an inner elastic plate which is bent such that a pair of cutting blades faces each other and the inner elastic plate has elastic restoring force, an outer elastic plate which is bent to surround an outer surface of the inner elastic plate and has elastic restoring force, and a pushing plate which has one end assembled to a support shaft disposed in inner and outer shaft holes penetratively formed in the inner and outer elastic plates and elastically deforms the inner and outer elastic plates by being pushed; a handle unit which includes a first main body which has an internal space into which the cutting unit is inserted and disposed, and a scattering prevention unit prevents a cut object cut by the cutting blades from scattering.

The present invention relates to a fingertip positioning member for coupling to a nail clipper, comprising a first and a second cutting edge together forming a clipping line for the purpose of facilitating clipping of the nail while applying the combination of the fingertip positioning member and the nail clipper, the fmgertip positioning member comprising: a preferably substantially elongate body comprising a contact surface for making contact with a contact surface of the nail clipper, coupling means for coupling to the nail clipper, and a placing support for laying a fingertip against the placing support for suitable positioning with the nail thereof in supported manner relative to the nail clipper.

A nail cutter is provided that includes a first member and a second member. A first end portion of the first member includes a blade. A first end portion of the second member does not include a blade. The first and second members are coupled such that the first member is movable relative to the second member between first and second positions and, when the first member moves from the first position to the second position, the blade moves toward the first end portion of the second member. A third member is coupled to the first member and is movable between third and fourth positions. Moving the third member from the third position to the fourth position moves the first member, relative to the second member, from the first position to the second position. A device for enclosing a typical nail clipper for the purpose of collecting virtually all nail clippings, including clippings that are discharged from the clipper at an angle less than 90 degrees from the face of the clipping surface, further comprising a sound dampening spring that is positioned between the upper and lower sections of the typical nail clipper.
