A device for applying or removing nail polish or nail art has a replaceable cartridge with a distal end removably coupleable to a proximal end of a handle. The cartridge has a reservoir that contains a liquid, such as nail polish or nail polish remover and a flow control member (e.g., valve) actuatable to allow flow of the liquid out of the distal end of the cartridge. The handle has a flow path therethrough that extends between its proximal end to an applicator implement (e.g., brush, sponge) attached to its distal end, the flow path in fluid communication with the flow control member when the cartridge is coupled to the handle. Selective actuation of the flow control member by the user (e.g., by squeezing the cartridge) allows fluid to flow out the reservoir and through the flow path in the handle to the applicator implement for application of the fluid by the user to a finger or toe nail.

A grooming apparatus for dispensing a fluid onto a surface, for example, a scalp of a user, is provided. The grooming apparatus includes a top member with a barrel and a plunger that slides in the barrel, a hollow chamber, and a multi-prong attachment. The hollow chamber is in fluid connection with the barrel. The plunger exerts a pressure on a fluid contained in the hollow chamber. The hollow chamber includes multiple tubular members disposed on and projecting outwards from a bottom surface of the hollow chamber. A top surface of the multi-prong attachment includes multiple holes for receiving the tubular members of the hollow chamber. A bottom surface of the multi-prong attachment includes multiple hollow prongs, each extending downwards from one of the holes in the top surface of the multi-prong attachment. The hollow prongs of the multi-prong attachment accommodate the tubular members of the hollow chamber therewithin.

An applicator that draws fine lines and dots includes a body sleeve having a shape of an elongated tube, a first drawing tool having a first section within the body sleeve and a first tip extending out from the body sleeve, wherein the first drawing tool reduces in size at a distal end of the first drawing tool, a second drawing tool having a second section within the body sleeve and a second tip extending out from the body sleeve, wherein the second drawing tool reduces in size at a distal end of the second drawing tool, and the first drawing tool, the second drawing tool, or both first and second drawing tools have a bend to bring the first and second tips closer together.

Systems, methods, and new file formats are provided for printing 3D microstructures. In some implementations, a new file format is provided that defines 3D objects by a wireframe model expressed as a collection of wires. Because wires and their parameters are defined within the new file format, objects may be processed more efficiently and quickly to support 3D rendering operations. Such methods may be used to print new articles, such as eyelashes, bushes, swabs and other novel items.

A pen has an external shape similar to that of a ballpoint pen or fountain pen. The pen includes a cavity in the tube type pen body for receiving gel varnish, and a brush for applying this to a finger nail. At the front end of the pen body, a sleeve is positioned which can be screwed on, and contained therein are LED/LEV lights, with a battery, for curing the applied gel varnish with UV light.

The brush for the application of cosmetic products comprises an housing seat for housing at least an application body having a plurality of spreading elements to spread a cosmetic product on a user, in which the housing seat comprises at least a concave portion and defining on the application body at least an application face of the cosmetic product.

A method and kit for treating a nail surface. The method includes brushing or spraying an adhesive on a coated or uncoated nail surface to form an adhesive-coated surface. A covering (e.g., a curable nail gel, evaporative nail polish, or artificial nail) is then applied to the adhesive-coated surface. The covering is removable by soaking in solvent for less than 20 minutes, peeling, or a combination thereof.

A tool for cleaning and disinfecting is disclosed herein. The tool for cleaning and disinfecting includes an elongated body, a brush portion, and a hook portion. The elongated body may be configured to house a fluid therein. The fluid may be a sanitizing agent or a cuticle oil. A nail polish application apparatus, comprising a mounting element comprising a capsule compartment adapted to receive one or more capsules containing a nail polish fluid wherein the mounting element is moveable by actuator(s) in longitudinal axis crossing a nail polish applying space and in lateral axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and is rotatable by the actuator(s) around the longitudinal axis, a pressure applying element adapted to apply pressure on a body portion of the capsule(s) installed in the capsule compartment wherein the body portion defines a reservoir containing a nail polish fluid, the pressure builds an internal pressure in the reservoir forcing extrusion of the nail polish fluid to a nail polish applying element integrated with the capsule(s), sensor(s) adapted to generate sensory data depicting the nail polish applying space and a control unit adapted to operate the actuator(s) and the pressure according to analysis of the sensory data.
