A cosmetic container that includes one or more lid assemblies and a base assembly, the base assembly configured to hold a cosmetic product. The lid assemblies and the base assembly are pivotably coupled with one or more hinge assemblies. Each hinge assembly may be positioned and secured within recesses of the lid assembly and the base assembly such that the cosmetic container can lie flat on a level surface in an open configuration. Each hinge assembly may provide two pivot locations to allow the lid assemblies to open to a plurality of configurations.

The present invention relates to a compact container having a rotating contents container, in which a button frame integrally formed thereon with a button is coupled to the inside of a container body, a support is hinged to the inside of the container body, a rotation frame is rotatably coupled to the inside of the support, a contents container accommodating an impregnation member is fixedly coupled to the inside of the rotation frame, wherein first and second latching protrusions are formed on the button frame and the rotation frame, respectively, to be latched to each other, thus the second latching protrusion of the rotation frame is latched to the first latching protrusion of the button frame when lifting the support from the container body to rotate the contents container, such that the rotation frame is automatically rotated at a predetermined angle, thereby improving the convenience of use.

A case for a cosmetic product includes a tray intended to receive the cosmetic product, an actuating means allowing for the passage of the tray from a rest position to a position of use, and a cover. The tray includes a notched zone able to cooperate with a toothed wheel of the cover in such a way that the passage of the tray from the rest position to the position of use results in the opening of the cover, and, reciprocally, the passage of the tray from the position of use to the rest position results in the closing of the cover.

The upper housing portion and the lower housing portion are twistable relative to one another, with the lid secured to the upper housing portion and twisting therewith. The lid and lower housing portion comprise engaging structures to secure the lid in a closed position when the respective engaging structures are aligned with one another. When the upper housing portion and lid are twisted relative to the lower housing portion, the lid is free to open upon reaching a sufficient amount of twisting movement.

A latch releasably secures each compartment layer in a closed position. Each hinge knuckle and latch may be pivotally mounted to its compartment layer, permitting movement into a retracted position, so the compartment can sit flush on a flat surface.
