A separable nail polish container having base with a paint material housed therein, a base cover selectively and removably coupled to the base portion, and an applicator brush selectively and removably coupled to the base cover. The base defines an upper opening of a diameter sufficient to allow refilling of a paint material, i.e., a more viscous gel or paint material, wherein the base cover can be removed to expose the upper opening. The applicator brush is insertable and removably within the base cover and includes a plurality of bristles spanning toward a bottom wall of the base.
Applicator with Flock and Comb on the Circumferential Surface
A cosmetic unit having an applicator, comprising an applicator element, which is connected to a handle by means of a wand, and having a cosmetic receptacle, which contains a supply of cosmetic, and a wiper. In its ready position, the applicator element dips into the cosmetic receptacle and in the course of this, the handle of the applicator is secured to the cosmetic receptacle in such a way that it closes this receptacle tightly. The applicator can be brought into its use position by pulling the applicator element out of the cosmetic receptacle through the wiper, wherein the applicator element has a central region that has a flocking and is mounted on the circumference of the applicator element and embraces the applicator element, preferably over a circumference angle of less than 180. The central region is arched outward in convex fashion and rimmed by at least one row of bristles on at least three of its four edges.
Stabilized, precision, dual-brush eyelash application apparatus and method
A mascara application system includes two brushes on arms or wands. A manufacturing approach is included. Wands are biased together, requiring force to separate brushes to place brushes on opposite sides (surfaces, top and bottom) of an eyelash. Upon release of the force brushes remain in contact with no affirmative force required to keep them together. During application of mascara, a user's fingers remain free to manipulate the position and movement of the brushes by holding, rolling, drawing, or otherwise controlling the handle to which the wands anchor. Brushes may be the same or different sizes, on simple, cantilevered arms or in a crossed (reverse tweezers) configuration. A reservoir of mascara product may receive, and seal by means of engaging, the applicator without relative rotation.
FLEXIBLE TILTING APPLICATOR ATTACHMENT
Flexible tilting skin contacting devices are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, an apparatus includes an applicator that is to contact skin surface, and a base connectable or detachable from the applicator. The applicator comprises first, second, and third portions. The second portion is disposed between and connected to the first and third portions along the rotation axis of the applicator. The first portion comprises an outwardly curved disc with at least one tip protruding from a major surface of the first portion, the second portion comprises an elastomeric material configured to flex proportionately in response to respective contact pressure on the at least one tip with the skin surface during rotation of the first portion, and the first portion is to tilt in a plane different from a rotation plane associated with the rotation axis in accordance with the flexing of the second portion.
BRUSH FOR APPLYING A PRODUCT TO THE EYELASHES AND/OR EYEBROWS
The present invention relates to a brush for applying a product to the eyelashes and/or eyebrows, including a core, in particular a twisted core, that extends along a longitudinal axis, and bristles that are held by the core in a portion of the core bearing the bristles. The bristles having free ends that define an envelope surface, the envelope surface having at least one facet and at least one groove, the groove extending along at least half the length of the portion of the core bearing the bristles, and the envelope surface being configured such that at least one facet and at least one angular sector with a contour of circular overall shape in section are successively encountered on moving around the longitudinal axis of the brush, this angular sector comprising at least the groove, said groove having outer edges situated on the contour of circular overall shape of the angular sector.
Applicator device and system for packaging and applying a cosmetic product, and use of same
The invention relates to an applicator device for applying a cosmetic product, comprising an elongate applicator head equipped with a groove having a straight portion substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the head, said groove containing a rectilinear resistive heating wire extending over the entire length of the straight portion of the groove.
Makeup brush for cosmetic application with a concave profile
In one aspect, the present disclosure provides a makeup brush. The makeup brush may include a brush portion secured to a forward end of a ferrule. The brush portion may include a plurality of tuft groups, where each tuft group is formed by a plurality of bristles. The tuft groups may form a concave profile at a working end of the makeup brush, and the concave profile may be configured to match a profile of human eyelashes.
Applicator Having an Applicator Blade
The invention relates to an applicator, and in particular a cosmetic applicator (1), for applying a cosmetic to the skin, comprising an applicator element and a handle (5) or handle attachment (5a, 5b, 5c), wherein the applicator element is an applicator blade (2) having two main surfaces (3, 4), wherein the handle (5) or handle attachment (5a, 5b, 5c) extends from one of the main surfaces (4) of the applicator blade and the applicator blade (2) protrudes beyond the handle or handle attachment on at least three sides, better on all sides, and the distal main surface (3) of the applicator blade (2) spans a plane (E) that forms an acute angle (W) of at least 20, or greater, with the longitudinal axis L of the handle (5) or handle attachment (5a, 5b, 5c).
