NAIL PRINTER
A nail printer is provided. The nail printer includes a discharger, an irradiator, and an irradiation intensity variator. The discharger is configured to discharge an active energy ray curable composition to a nail by an inkjet method. The irradiator is configured to irradiate the nail with an active energy ray. The irradiation intensity variator is configured to vary an irradiation intensity of the active energy ray radiated from the irradiator.
HAIRCARE APPLIANCE
A haircare appliance has a heat source configured to emit heat, a location determination module configured to determine a location of target hair, and a guide mechanism for use in guiding emitted heat from the heat source to the location of the target hair in response to an output of the location determination module.
Systems and methods for cooling batteries in a battery powered blow dryer
A battery powered blow dryer having a novel battery cooling feature to simultaneously cool the batteries and improve hair dryer performance.
Personal care device with camera
A personal care system having a treatment device for applying a treatment to the skin or hair of a user is provided. The treatment device has a camera for taking an image of the skin. The system may include or be in communication with an application programming interface (API) that can process the image. The system or an associated API can recommend the use of treatment regimens or topical products according to information determined from the digital image of the skin.
Apparatus and Methods for Manicures
A method of applying a curable formulation to an object includes positioning an amount of formulation on a surface before curing the formulation, the formulation being curable by an electromagnetic energy. While the amount of formulation remains on the surface, a first amount of the electromagnetic energy may be directed to the formulation to cure a first area of the uncured formulation, while leaving a second area of the formulation uncured. Force may be applied to press the surface onto the object to transfer the second area of uncured formulation to the object. Some or all of the first area of cured formulation may remain on the surface as the second area of uncured formulation is transferred to the object. The formulation may be a nail polish formulation, and the object may be a fingernail of a user.
Diffuser and hair dryer having a diffuser
A diffuser includes a diffusing case having a rear side removably coupled to a main body of a hair dryer. Gas discharged from the main body is introduced into the diffusing case through a gas inlet hole defined at the rear side. The gas introduced into the diffusing case is discharged from a front side of the diffusing case. The diffusing case has a concave or curved structure such that an inner diameter of the diffusing case increases in a forward direction. A guide frame provided inside the diffusing case to guide a flow of the introduced gas includes a diffusion portion or protrusion provided to face the gas inlet hole to diffuse the gas introduced through the gas inlet hole.
HAIR TREATMENT APPARATUS, HAIR TREATMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COSMETICALLY TREATING HAIR
In various embodiments, a hair treatment device is provided. The hair treatment device can have a device body, at least one sensor arranged in or on the device body for detecting a hair condition parameter, and an electronic circuit device arranged in or on the device body. The electronic circuit device can be coupled to the at least one sensor for receiving the detected hair condition parameter, and the electronic circuit device can be configured, based on the received detected hair condition parameter, to control at least one hair treatment parameter and/or to dose at least one hair treatment agent and/or to provide a hair treatment recommendation.
Systems and methods for delivering heat in a battery powered blow dryer
A battery powered blow dryer having a novel heating element technology that can be powered by an attached battery pack. The heating element includes an infrared light bulb that emits high heat with relatively low power consumption compared to current methods. The present invention patent also describes a unique configuration of battery cells to optimally perform the task of blow drying hair.
Hair dye and methods of using the same
A method of hair dying is provides that includes applying a polymer based hair dye to hair and emitting light on the applied polymer based hair dye for a duration to cure the polymer based hair dye on the hair. In certain aspects a device is provided that emits polymer curative energy for curing an applied polymer based hair dye that includes a housing, at least polymer curative light source disposed in the housing, and a controller operatively connected to the heat source and the at least one polymer curative light source. In certain embodiments a heat source is disposed in the housing that includes a polymer curative light source.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CHANGING A COSMETIC FORMULATION ATTRIBUTE
Systems and methods for changing a cosmetic formulation attribute are described. In an embodiment, the system comprises a detector configured to detect a cosmetic formulation disposed on the substrate; an additive applicator configured to apply an additive to the cosmetic formulation disposed on the substrate, wherein the additive is configured to change a cosmetic formulation attribute; and a controller operatively coupled to the detector and the additive applicator. In an embodiment, controller includes logic that, when executed by the controller, is configured to cause the system to perform operations including: detecting, with the detector, the cosmetic formulation disposed on the substrate; and applying, with the additive applicator, the additive to the cosmetic formulation disposed on the substrate to change the cosmetic formulation attribute of the cosmetic formulation.
