MINIATURE, MULTIPLE ANGLE ACCESSIBLE, ULTRAVIOLET NAIL GEL CURING LAMP AND METHOD OF USE
Embodiments disclosed herein relate to a miniature, multiple-angle accessible nail gel curing lamp that minimizes the size of a light exposure area, while at the same time providing access to the light exposure area for a customer's hand, and both of technician's hands. This lamp is particularly useful for performing the “gel-press on” technique of applying artificial nails with a UV-curable nail gel. Some embodiments include a base, a riser extending generally upward from the base, and a lamp head extending generally horizontally from the riser, where the lamp head is operatively connectable to a power source and comprises an ultraviolet light emitting diode (“UV LED”) configured to direct light emitted by the UV LED generally toward the base, thereby defining a light exposure area extending from the UV LED downward toward the base, and where an arc of access to the light exposure area is defined as an arc in a plane generally parallel to the UV LED and centered on the UV LED, so that the base, the riser and the lamp head are configured to allow unimpeded access of a user's hand to the light exposure area throughout the arc of access and where the arc of access is at least 180 degrees, and in some instances, at least 270 degrees.
Hair-drying hood and hair treatment device including the same
A hair treatment device can be used with a blower for drying and styling hair. The hair treatment device includes a hair-drying hood for covering the head of a user, which has an opening at a top portion or a side portion thereof. The blower can be inserted from the opening. The hair-drying hood further includes an outer layer, where the opening is disposed, and a thermal layer, which forms an air flow guiding chamber together with the outer layer inbetween for introducing and dispersing hot air from the blower all over the hair-drying hood while raising a temperature of the thermal layer. The hair treatment device further includes a position retainer having a first end fixing the blower, and having a second end is stably fixed onto an object.

HAIRCARE APPLIANCE
A haircare appliance is described having first and second arms that define a hair treatment chamber, an infrared emitter configured to emit infrared radiation into the hair treatment chamber, and an airflow generator configured to generate an airflow within the hair treatment chamber. The infrared emitter is configured to emit infrared radiation including a peak wavelength greater than 900 nm.
MULTI-HEAD ARTIST AND MAKE-UP BRUSH
A make-up brush system includes a mandrel having a first end and a second end. The first end includes a gripping surface for engagement with a hand of a make-up artist and the second end being shaped and dimensioned for selective engagement with a plurality of make-up brushes. A plurality of make-up brushes is provided. Each of the plurality of make-up brushes includes a first end and a second end, the first end including a functional component of the make-up brush and the second end including a coupling member shaped and dimensioned for selective engagement with the second end of the mandrel. The system also includes a case both supporting and sanitizing the various components of the present invention. The case includes a tray supporting the plurality of make-up brushes in accessible positions within the case.
TRAINING SYSTEM AND DEVICE
A beauty product device is disclosed which includes a variety of sensors for sensing the way in which a user is operating the device. The sensor data can be processed and compared with pre-stored data representative of a desired style and feedback messages generated and provided back to the user to help them achieve the style they wish to achieve based on the comparison.
Methods of providing skin care using phototherapy
The present invention relates inter alia to a cosmetic method for providing skin care comprising illuminating the skin of a subject with one or more light beams, said beams together providing light to the skin having a discontinuous spectrum. The invention also relates to a method for treating a skin-related disorder and relates to a light-emitting device for use in these methods.
NAIL LAMP
A nail lamp is configured to cure light-curable nail product on a user's nails. The lamp includes an array of discrete light sources. A nail treatment space is disposed beneath the array and is sized to accommodate therein at least one nail of a user so as to expose the user's at least one nail to light from the array. The nail lamp includes a number of features to improve the uniformity of exposure of the at least one user nail to light relative to existing lamps. These features include one or more angled surfaces and light reflectors.
Smart nozzle for hair dryer
A smart nozzle system for a hair dryer includes a proximity detection circuit, a temperature sensing circuit, a speed detection circuit, and a rotating nozzle vane, among other features. The nozzle includes a microcontroller and a wireless communication module to interface with an external computing device via an application. Also included is a camera, a timer, a fluid dispenser, and a therapeutic UV light. The power supply can be a dynamo powered by air flowing through the nozzle. The nozzle can be an add-on to existing hair dryers or can be integral with a hair dryer system.
HAIRCARE APPLIANCE
A haircare appliance is described having first and second arms that define a hair treatment chamber, an infrared emitter configured to emit infrared radiation into the hair treatment chamber, and an airflow generator configured to generate an airflow within the hair treatment chamber. The hair treatment chamber includes a minimal width of greater than 5 mm.
