NON-PATTERNING CONCEALED CARRY
An imperceptible strap includes an inside surface and an outside surface. The inside and outside surfaces have a length and a width configured to eliminate visible line patterning. A thickness defined between the inside and outside surfaces is configured to tent fabric along the length and eliminate visible line patterning. Edges at width boundaries of the inside and outside surface are configured to eliminate visible line patterning.
Carrying devices
A carrying device includes a retractable support system for equipment carried in the hand. In some embodiments, the carrying device comprises a frame assembly for transporting larger loads and optimizing the weight distribution thereof. In some embodiments, the carrying device includes a support shelf. In some embodiments, the carrying device includes an expandable volume.
Security Tether For Skis Or Other Objects
A novel security tether includes an intermediate flexible substrate, a first loop, and a second loop. The first loop is fixed to a first end of the intermediate flexible substrate and is switchable between a closed position and an open position. The first loop further includes a lock to retain the first loop in the closed position when engaged. The second loop is a fixed, closed loop that is coupled to a second end of the intermediate flexible substrate and is configured to allow the first loop to pass therethrough to create a secondary loop to encircle an anchor object. The first loop can be closed around an object to be secured, thereby securing the object to be secured to the anchor object when the lock is engaged. The security tether is conveniently portable and particularly useful for securing skis to an anchor object.
Retractable shoulder strap for portable objects
A retractable shoulder strap for portable objects, such as bags, purses, briefcases or carry-on luggage, comprises a shoulder pad, an elongated strip of pliant material, a plurality of holes positioned at substantially uniform intervals along the length of the elongated strip, and retractors located inside the shoulder pad. Extendible guide wires passing through the plurality of holes connect the ends of the elongated strip to the retractors, which are spring-biased to automatically retract the guide wires and stow the elongated strip inside internal storage spaces in the shoulder pad, thereby eliminating slack in the strap when no tension is applied to the ends of the elongated strip. When tension is applied to the ends of the elongated strip, the portions of the elongated strip stowed in the internal storage spaces of the shoulder pad are automatically extracted, thereby increasing the length of the strap to facilitate normal over-the-shoulder use.
Water Tank Lifting Harness and Drain Pan System
The present invention relates to a system to facilitate the moving of a water tank by two persons while also containing leaks and more particularly to a waterproof flexible drain pan held inside a pair of crossed adjustable harnesses and lifting straps. The drain pan has an integrated hose connector.
BIN CLAMP AND TOW ROPE
A towing apparatus is provided. The towing apparatus includes a clamp. The clamp includes a first arm and a second arm. Each of the first and second arms includes a handle portion and a gripping portion. The first and second arms are pivotally secured together in between the handle portions 12a and the gripping portions. A spring biases the gripping portions together. A first lock plate is pivotally secured to a distal end of the gripping portion of the first arm and a second lock plate is pivotally secured to a distal end of the gripping portion of the second arm. The towing apparatus further includes a rope attached to the clamp.
CONSPICUITY DEVICES
The disclosure provides conspicuity devices and methods. A first embodiment includes a glove with at least one elongate lighting device adapted and configured to admit light having an advantageous spectral energy distribution. Additional articles of clothing are provided herein for enhanced conspicuity, such as for emergency workers and athletes.
Customizable Bag with Retractable Strap
The present disclosure provides for a bag with a retractable strap and different variations of accessory panels located throughout the bag. In some aspects, the retractable strap may be moved into different orientations on the bag rather than a stagnant placement throughout the use of the bag. In some embodiments, the bag may have several interior and exterior accessory panels that allow for limitless combinations of accessories to be added for maximum customization from bag to bag. In some implementations, the bag and frame may be made up of different materials depending on the intended use of the bag. In some embodiments, the retractable strap may have different length control mechanisms, allowing the strap to be retractable no matter the orientation. In some implementations, the retractable strap may extend via a constant force spring. In some aspects, the rotational force of the extension of the constant force spring may provide a constant force.
Chest buckle for a harness
A chest buckle for a harness for carrying a handheld motor-driven work tool, the chest buckle including first and second parts, wherein the first and second part, each includes at least two mechanisms attaching straps of the harness thereto. The first part includes a recess defining a cavity arranged to accommodate the second part therein. The second part includes a resilient locking member arranged to protrude through a hole in the first part when the second part is accommodated in the cavity to lock the first and second parts together.
STRAP LIFTER FOR USE BETWEEN TWO PERSONS WITH MULTIPLE LIFTING OPTIONS
A lifter system includes a harness, at least one lifting strap carried by a front, central buckle on the harness, and two arm loops connected to the central buckle or to the harness near the central buckle. The arm loops are used to supply supplemental or substitute lifting force during lifting or maneuvering a heavy or bulky object. Preferably, a set of two shoulder harnesses is used by two persons standing face-to-face with a single lifter strap between them threaded through both of the central buckles, wherein the two persons wear the arm loops on their forearms and raise their arms to lift the central buckles, and hence, to lift the lifting strap, to levels higher than may be possible with only force supplied by the harnesses.
