There is provided a sulfide solid electrolyte containing elemental lithium (Li), elemental phosphorus (P), elemental sulfur (S), and an elemental halogen (X). The mole ratio of the elemental lithium (Li) to the elemental phosphorus (P), Li/P, satisfies 3.7<Li/P<5.4. The mole ratio of the elemental sulfur (S) to the elemental phosphorus (P), S/P, satisfies 3.9<S/P<4.1. The mole ratio of the elemental halogen (X) to the elemental phosphorus (P), X/P, satisfies 0.7<X/P<2.4. The sulfide solid electrolyte includes a crystalline phase having an argyrodite-type crystal structure.

There is provided a method for collecting and reusing an active material from positive electrode scrap. The positive electrode active material reuse method of the present disclosure includes (a) thermally treating positive electrode scrap comprising an active material layer on a current collector in air for thermal decomposition of a binder and a conductive material in the active material layer, to separate the current collector from the active material layer, and collecting an active material in the active material layer, (b) washing the collected active material using a lithium precursor aqueous solution which is basic in an aqueous solution and drying, and (c) annealing the washed active material to obtain a reusable active material.

In particular, the present invention relates to a novel process for preparing a solid crystalline material formed preferably in extrudate form, of formula (LiCl).sub.x.2Al(OH).sub.3,nH.sub.2O with n being between 0.01 and 10, x being between 0.4 and 1, comprising a step a) to precipitate boehmite under specific conditions of temperature and pH, a step to place the precipitate obtained in contact with a specific quantity of LiCl, at least one forming step preferably via extrusion, said process also comprising a final hydrothermal treatment step, all allowing an increase in lithium adsorption capacity and in the adsorption kinetics of the materials obtained compared to prior art materials, when used in a process to extract lithium from saline solutions.

A positive-electrode active material contains a lithium composite oxide containing at least one selected from the group consisting of F, Cl, N, and S. The crystal structure of the lithium composite oxide belongs to a space group C2/m. An XRD pattern of the lithium composite oxide comprises a first peak within the first range of 44 degrees to 46 degrees of a diffraction angle 2θ and a second peak within the second range of 18 degrees to 20 degrees of the diffraction angle 2θ. The ratio of the second integrated intensity of the second peak to the first integrated intensity of the first peak is within a range of 0.05 to 0.90.

CaTiO3-BASED OXIDE THERMOELECTRIC MATERIAL AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

A CaTiO.sub.3-based oxide thermoelectric material and a preparation method thereof are disclosed. The CaTiO.sub.3-based oxide thermoelectric material has a chemical formula of Ca.sub.1-xLa.sub.xTiO.sub.3, where 0<x≤0.4. The present disclosure makes it possible to prepare a CaTiO.sub.3-based thermoelectric material with properties comparable to n-type ZnO, CaTiO.sub.3, SrTiO.sub.3 and other oxide thermoelectric materials. Among them, the La15 sample has a power factor reaching up to 8.2 μWcm.sup.−1K.sup.−2 (at about 1000 K), and a power factor reaching up to 9.2 μWcm.sup.−1K.sup.−2 at room temperature (about 300 K); and a conductivity reaching up to 2015 Scm.sup.−1 (at 300 K). The CaTiO.sub.3-based oxide thermoelectric material exhibits the best thermoelectric performance among calcium titanate ceramics. The method for preparing the CaTiO.sub.3-based oxide thermoelectric material of the present disclosure is simple in process, convenient in operation, low in cost, and makes it possible to prepare a CaTiO.sub.3-based ceramic sheet with high thermoelectric performance.

The solid electrolyte material of the present disclosure includes Li, Ca, Y, Sm, X, O, and H, wherein, X is at least one selected from the group consisting of F, Cl, Br, and I; and the molar ratio of O to the sum of Y and Sm is greater than 0 and less than 0.32.
