Wheel locking assembly for a harvester header
A wheel assembly of a harvester header includes a latch and a pin. The pin is configured to engage the latch while a wheel of the wheel assembly is at a first position and the pin is configured to disengage the latch while the wheel of the wheel assembly is at a second position. Engagement of the pin and the latch is configured to block movement of the wheel relative to a frame of the harvester header.
PIVOTING IMPLEMENT FRAME
A lift and rotate style agricultural implement with forward folding wings is provided. The agricultural implement includes a center frame that may be operatively configured to be lifted and rotated approximately 90 degrees when switching between a field configuration and a transport configuration. Furthermore, the wings may include an inner portion and an outer portion, wherein the outer portion may be operatively configured to be rotated or pivoted approximately 180 degrees relative to the inner wing portion when switching between a field configuration and a transport configuration. The inner and outer wing portions may be connected by a hinge and the outer wing may be pivoted about the inner wing portion by a cylinder.
Carrier assembly for an agricultural machine
An agricultural machine (2) comprises an operating unit (6) and a carrier assembly (8) for the operating unit. The carrier assembly (8) includes a carrier arm (12) and a suspension system (16) by which the operating unit (6) is suspended from the carrier arm (12). The suspension system (16) including two pairs of connecting rods, comprising a pair of upper connecting rods (28) and a pair of lower connecting rods (30), each said connecting rod being attached via joints (32) to the operating unit (6) and the carrier arm (12). A first pair (30) of said upper and lower connecting rods diverge in a working direction of the operating unit and a second pair (28) and of said upper and lower connecting rods converge in a working direction of the operating unit.
Agricultural implement with electro-hydraulic cylinders
An agricultural implement includes the use of one or more electromechanical hydraulic cylinder assembly in place of hydraulic cylinders. The assemblies may take various forms for actuation, and can convert an electric power source to hydraulic power for use on or with the implement. A control system is also provided for connecting to a tractor to provide control information to the assemblies or to a central hydraulic supply via a ISOBUS that rebroadcasts input controls from a source, such as a tractor used in conjunction with the agricultural implement.
LIFT AND ROTATE AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT
An agricultural implement includes a toolbar that extends transverse to a tongue when in a field use configuration. The toolbar can be lifted and/or rotated relative to the tongue to transition between a field use and a transport use. A lifting assembly includes one or more actuators and linkage systems to lift the toolbar attached thereto in an arced manner in moving from a field use configuration to a transport configuration. A rotating mechanism can also include one or more actuators to rotate the toolbar about a pivot member. An anti-rotation link includes a member is connected to the toolbar and can be positioned at least partially within a groove to mitigate rotation of the toolbar, such as during the lifting of the toolbar.
Harvesting header transport apparatus and method
A transport system for transport of a harvesting header comprises separate front and rear carriers in a configuration that permits a single person to prepare a harvesting header for transport. The wheeled front carrier engages a support member attached to one end of the harvesting header and includes a towing member and means of connecting the front carrier to a towing vehicle. A wheeled rear carrier comprises deployable straps that can be attached to the harvesting header. A winch applies tension to the straps and on retraction pulls the rear carrier up and into position underneath the header. The harvesting header is then lowered to transfer the weight to the carriers and the header then disconnected from the combine, and is ready for transport.
SUSPENSION COMPLIANCE TO REDUCE FRAME LOADING
A harvesting system includes a header pivotally attached to a combine. The header includes a center section to which a left wing and right wing are pivotally attached. A suspension system of the harvesting system includes first and second engageable states that enable dynamic wing behavior and reduce structural load. The first state corresponds to a harvesting configuration of the header in which the wings are allowed to pivot to allow the header to follow changes in terrain. The second state corresponds to a configuration in which the header is elevated relative to the ground. In the second state, the ability of the wings to pivot is minimized as compared to the first state, which allows the header to be maintained in a substantially flat configuration while minimizing the amount of dynamic load imparted by the header on the combine during non-harvesting transport of the header.
LATCH MECHANISM FOR LATERAL TRANSPORT CENTER-PIVOT MOWER
An agricultural machine includes a trail frame, a wheel arm, a field wheel, a tongue, and a latch mechanism for releasably securing the trail frame to the tongue. The latch mechanism includes a catch mounted on the trail frame for pivoting about a fulcrum, a receiver on the tongue, the catch engageable with the receiver, a spring acting between the catch and trail frame on a first side of the fulcrum for biasing the catch into engagement with the receiver, and a rigid link acting between the wheel arm and the catch on a second side of the fulcrum. Pivoting motion of the wheel arm moving the field wheel away from the trail frame causes movement of the rigid link, and, once a pre-defined lost motion is overcome, continued movement of the rigid link causes pivoting of the catch about the fulcrum and disengagement of the catch from the receiver.
Harvesting header transport
An apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes a harvesting header; a harvesting header carrier; at least one retractor and at least one tension link coupled to the at least one retractor, said at least one retractor and said at least one tension link connected to the harvesting header and the harvesting header carrier; wherein the at least one retractor is operable to retract the at least one tension link to shorten the at least one tension link and cause the harvesting header carrier to be lifted towards and engage with the harvesting header. Further apparatuses, systems and methods are also disclosed.
