Fluid management and measurement systems, devices, and methods
A medicament preparation system includes a disposable cartridge with a flow path. Various sensors may be placed on the cartridge to measure qualities of the fluid flowing through the flow path. The sensors are placed in precise locations using various approaches that make manufacturing of the cartridge efficient and repeatable. A drain line that is susceptible to fouling may be preattached and various approaches are used to remove or reduce the fouling. An elastomeric contact can also be present in the medical preparation system and used in a conductivity measurement subsystem.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR WASTEWATER TREATMENT
The present disclosure describes systems and methods for wastewater treatment. In some embodiments, a system may include one or more of a pair of electrodes, a first membrane selectively permeable to a first wastewater nutrient, a second membrane selectively permeable to a second wastewater nutrient, and at least one spacing frame comprising a structural element, a gasket, and a flow channel. In some embodiments, the system may further include a septic tank.
Purification filter element and water purification cup
The present disclosure relates to water purification devices, and more particularly to a purification filter element and a water purification cup. The purification filter element includes a housing including a sterilization case, an activated carbon filtering section and an ion exchange resin filtering section from bottom to top. The sterilization case includes a first casing which is filled with brominated polystyrene hydantoin and a first filter screen. A gap is formed between the bottoms of the first casing and the housing. A flow limit hole is provided at the bottom of the housing. The water purification cup includes the purification filter element and a cup body. A water feed cup is detachably fastened in the cup body. A bottom of the water feed cup is connected to the housing of the purification filter element through a connection hole.
Multiple-bore solute cartridge carrier
A multiple-bore solute cartridge carrier 10) for use in a sterile fluid delivery system. The carrier includes a rotary housing (12) adapted for connection to the sterile fluid delivery system. The rotary housing has one or more bores (30) configured to receive a solute cartridge. The rotary housing, when connected to the sterile fluid delivery system, is selectively rotatable to facilitate creation of a desired sterile solution when sterile water from the fluid delivery system is flowed through the solute cartridge.
Water Treatment Systems, Devices, and Methods for Fluid Preparation
A method of automatically ensuring against chloramine contamination in purified product water includes supplying input water to the system and purifying the water to generate the purified product water. The purifying includes removing chlorine and chloramine contamination from the water using a carbon filter and supplying chlorine-depleted water to a deionization filter, and deionizing the chlorine-depleted water using said deionization filter. The product water is supplied to a sensor for continuous monitoring of the resistivity of the purified product water by the first sensor, and an alarm is generated indicating possible chloramine breakthrough when the resistivity of the product water falls below a predetermined resistivity level, which is selected to provide a reserve filter capacity before breakthrough would occur. The carbon filter is replaced at least responsively to the alarm to ensure excess capacity of said carbon filter sufficient to prevent chloramine breakthrough in said product water.
STERILE AND/OR PURIFIED FLUID AND/OR SOLUTION DELIVERY SYSTEM
One aspect of the present disclosure can include a system for dispensing purified and sterilized fluid and/or solution. The delivery system can include a fluid reservoir, a sterilization and/or purification mechanism, a solution production mechanism, a dispensing mechanism, and a controller. The system can dispense the purified and sterilized fluid and/or solution on-demand.
Water purification and dispensing system and method
The invention provides a water purification and dispensing system, preferably for producing ultrapure water and offering the purified water at one or more dispensing sites in a desired volume. The water purification and dispensing system comprises a (closed) water recirculation loop including a water inlet for introducing water to be purified, pumping means for pumping water through said water recirculation loop in a flow direction, water purification means for purifying water downstream of said water inlet, a dispensing portion of the water recirculation loop including one or more outlet(s) for purified water branched from said water recirculation loop downstream of said water purification means, a first valve arranged between each outlet and said water recirculation loop, for controlled dispensing of the purified water from said recirculation loop through the respective outlet, a second valve arranged in said dispensing portion of the water recirculation loop downstream of said first valve(s) and upstream of said pumping means, a bypass passage branched from said water recirculation loop and bypassing said dispensing portion of the water recirculation loop including said first valve(s) and said second valve, and a third valve for controlling the flow rate through said bypass passage.
