DOCKING OZONE GENERATOR CARTRIDGE FOR OZONATING WATER
An illustrative expendable or reconstructable ozone generator cartridge for an aqueous ozone delivery device, for example, for antimicrobial sanitizing and/or medical treatment, includes a housing for a water ozonating manifold, at least one ozone generating cell coupled to the manifold, and optionally a data logging and authentication feature. Advantageously, a water inlet and aqueous ozone outlet of the ozone generator cartridge is pluggable into and unpluggable from a docking station of the aqueous ozone delivery device, for example, a hand or implement washing and sanitizing device or a medical treatment device.
METHOD OF DRIVING BALLAST WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a method of driving a ballast water treatment system. The ballast water treatment system includes an air compressor for compressing air, an air receiver tank for storing the compressed air, an oxygen generator for generating oxygen from the air, an oxygen receiver tank for storing the oxygen, an ozone generator for generating ozone from the oxygen, a ballast water pump for pumping ballast water, an inflow line for transferring the ballast water, an ozone injector for injecting the ozone into the inflow line, and a destructor for purging the ozone. The driving method includes a step of pressing a stop button to stop the ballast water treatment system, a step of purging ozone generated in the ozone generator, and a step of stopping each device of the ballast water treatment system.
WASTEWATER TREATMENT DEVICE AND WASTEWATER TREATMENT METHOD
A wastewater treatment device has: an ozone generator which supplies ozone; a mixer which mixes ozone supplied from the ozone generator with wastewater and supplies ozone mixed wastewater; an ozone oxidation unit which progresses ozone oxidation in the ozone mixed wastewater while passing the ozone mixed wastewater therethrough and discharges wastewater in which the ozone has been consumed; a biological treatment unit which performs biological treatment on the wastewater discharged from the ozone oxidation unit using microorganisms; and an adjusting device which adjusts the amount of ozone to be mixed with the wastewater by the mixer so that ozone in an amount that inhibits the microorganisms of the biological treatment unit does not remain in the wastewater discharged from the ozone oxidation unit.
PORTABLE WATER PURIFIER
A hand portable water purification system including: a cold plasma ozone generator having two spaced apart parallel electrodes for generating ozone; a Venturi injector providing partially ozonated contaminated water; a first and a second reactor tank, each tank in fluid communication with the Venturi injector and the cold plasma generator, wherein the first reactor tank fills with partially ozonated contaminated water provided by the injector, and while being filled, is further ozonated until purified water is obtained and concurrently previously purified water is emptied from the second reactor tank; a low wattage power source for providing power to the system; and a microprocessor/controller for controlling in real time the amount of ozone produced by the generator and for controlling a series of valves. The valves are opened and closed according to a predefined sequence. A method for use of the portable water purification system is also provided herein.

Apparatus and operating method for deep denitrification and toxicity reduction of wastewater
Disclosed is an apparatus and an operating method for deep denitrification and toxicity reduction of wastewater. The apparatus comprises a regulation tank, an aeration biofilter, an ozone reaction tank, an ozone generation and diffusion device, and a denitrification biofilter. By the coupling reaction treatment of microorganisms, ozone, electrolysis and denitrification, an effect of refractory organic contaminants and nitrate nitrogen removal, deep denitrification and toxicity reduction can be achieved.
PROCESS AND FACILITY FOR TREATING PRODUCED WATER FROM AN OIL & GAS FIELD
Disclosed is a method and a facility for treating Produced Water stream from a production well of an oil and gas field, the method and facility including: obtaining a first stream by directing the Produced Water stream to a system of separation by physical way; oxidizing the first stream by introducing in the stream an oxidant by contacting the Produced Water stream with an oxidant; and directing the oxidized stream to an aerobic bioreactor, to achieve a biological treatment.
Regulating method for a water treatment installation using measured parameters and control of an ozonisation device
Method for controlling a water treatment installation having a supply, an ozonization stage, a transfer stage, a biological filter and a discharge having the following steps: measuring a first parameter set in the supply, wherein, a measurement for a first concentration of micro-contaminations and/or a nitrite concentration is determined; controlling the ozonization stage in such a manner that an ozone supply is carried out in a preselected ratio to the measured first parameter set; measuring a second parameter set in the transfer stage, wherein, a measurement for a second concentration of micro-contaminations is determined; controlling the ozonization; measuring a third parameter set in the discharge, wherein, with reference to the third parameter set, a measurement of a third concentration of micro-contaminations is determined; if the measurement for the concentration of micro-contaminations exceeds a predetermined maximum value in the discharge, increasing the ozone supply.
