METHOD AND SYSTEMS FOR OXYGENATION OF WATER BODIES
A cost-effective system and method dissolves gas, such as oxygen, into water in a manner that prevents gas bubble carry over by using a bubble capture system (BCS). The system and method further eliminates or minimizes turbulence at the suction and discharge of a pump using an energy dissipation header (EDH). The BCS can create a top-down flow that permits bubbles to rise faster than the velocity of the downward flow of water. The EDH can use a pipe design, such as a slotted pipe design, that permits a maximum system water flow. The technology can be applied to water bodies to mitigate eutrophication and may also be applicable in other fields, such as wastewater lift stations, fish farms, oil and gas industry, tidal applications with low flushing rates, and winter under ice oxygenation to prevent fish kills.

The filtering system may include an upflow pretreatment chamber and a subsequent filtration chamber. It also includes a snorkel pipe as an adjustable head control or internal baffles. The system incorporates gravity powered partially saturated stormwater media filters to harness the potential energy of stormwater from downspouts and pumped flows from stormwater catchments to drive the polluted stormwater in a hydraulically controlled fashion by gravity through a series of filter media layers.

The disclosure also provides an ozone contact method using the ozone contact tank, which can greatly improve the disinfection effect.
Fluid sterilization apparatus
A fluid sterilization apparatus includes: a flow passage tube in which a processing passage where a passing fluid is sterilized is formed; a first light source that irradiates the processing passage with ultraviolet light; an inflow passage formed in a direction that intersects an outer circumferential surface of the flow passage tube; and a communication passage that causes the inflow passage to communicate with the processing passage. The communication passage has a narrow passage in the middle of a path from the inflow passage toward an opening of a first end, the narrow passage being narrower than a passage toward the inflow passage.
SATURATED LAYER STORMWATER FILTRATION SYSTEM
A saturated layer stormwater filtering system with down-flow layered multimedia filters is disclosed.

Water treatment system
A UV reactor for disinfecting water. The UV reactor may include a cooling chamber in which heat from a UV source may be transferred to the water flowing through the UV reactor. The UV reactor may include driver circuitry operable to determine status information, such as health, of the UV source. The UV reactor may include a gas discharge path operable to substantially prevent accumulation of gas within a water treatment chamber.
WATER TREATMENT DEVICE
A disinfection device including a pipe with a taper, inlet, and outlet; an ultraviolet laser; a beam steering device and a transparent layer. The laser, located at a smaller diameter end of the pipe, projects a laser beam towards a larger diameter end of the pipe. The laser beam projects through and/or off the beam steering device and through the transparent layer at a plurality of angles in a cycle. The beam steering device reflects, refracts and/or deflects the laser beam at angles such that a laser beam profile projects through part or all of an inner profile of any point along the taper in the cycle. The pipe receives a fluid that passes through the pipe. One of the inlet or the outlet is located at the smaller diameter pipe end and the other of the inlet or the outlet is located at the larger diameter pipe end.
WATER PURIFIER AND WATER PURIFICATION SYSTEM
A water purifier for home use, irrigation systems used for crop cultivation or the pharmaceutical industry includes a water inlet for a water to be purified and a water outlet for a purified water. A water treatment chamber is fluidly connected to the water inlet and the water outlet. The water treatment chamber is confined by a chamber wall. The water purifier includes a high-voltage plasma unit for generating a cold plasma within the water treatment chamber. The plasma unit has a first electrode and a second electrode. The first electrode is arranged inside the water treatment chamber such that, during use of the water purifier, it is contacted by the water. The second electrode is disposed spaced apart from the first electrode and electrically insulated therefrom by a dielectric. The water purifier further relates to a water purification system.
