A method and system for the remediation of the water of an aquatic facility using an integrated process control system to control a mixed halogen-based treatment including chlorine dioxide and a free halogen. The integrated process control system provides versatile control the chlorine dioxide concentration using accelerated side-stream generation of chlorine dioxide. The remediation can occur continuously, and/or intermittently using a daily remediation cycle or a rapid recovery shock.

Spa/pool water treatment system and method

A mobile device reads a test strip to determine a chemical condition of a liquid or a user inputs a treatment plan into the mobile device. The mobile device transmits the determined chemical condition or the input treatment plan to a liquid treatment system which treats the fluid in response to the determined chemical condition or the input treatment plan.

WATER RECOVERY SYSTEM AND WATER RECOVERY METHOD
20230295017 · 2023-09-21 · ·

Provided is a water recovery system and a water recovery method whereby, in water recovery using a reverse osmosis membrane from water to be treated containing organic matter, it is possible to also suppress slime contamination on the secondary side of the reverse osmosis membrane. A water recovery system includes: a reverse osmosis membrane treatment device which separates water to be treated containing organic matter into permeated water and concentrated water with a reverse osmosis membrane; iodine-based oxidizing agent adding piping which adds an iodine-based oxidizing agent to the water to be treated; and permeated water piping as a supply means for supplying the permeated water as water to be treated in a water utilization system.

Charge neutral biocide dosing control for membrane biofouling control applications

Biocide can be controllably added to a feed stream for a membrane. The membrane can separate the feed stream into a purified permeate stream and a concentrate stream containing contaminants from the feed stream. In some examples, a charge neutral biocide is introduced into the feed stream at a first addition rate. The concentration of the charge neutral biocide in the permeate stream is measured to provide a measured concentration of the charge neutral biocide in the permeate stream. The addition rate of the charge neutral biocide can be adjusted based on the measured concentration of the charge neutral biocide in the permeate stream to introduce charge neutral biocide into the feed stream at a second addition rate different than the first addition rate.

The present invention describes an automated, transportable and energy-efficient with a hybrid power capacity wastewater treatment facility that allows for the disinfection of contaminated sanitation wastewater in order to preserve the environment and provide a greater availability of this resource and its reuse. The facility described in the present invention allows to carry out a process for water treatment in five stages based in equalization, oxidation sedimentation, disinfection and filtration. Moreover, it has a photovoltaic feeding system and a night lighting system that allows the operation of the facility in a hybrid way during the day and the night, as well as a structure that allows its easy transportation. Finally, the facility has an automated system comprised by a control panel that allows to manage and monitor every operational condition of it, that integrates and sends all processed programmable information to a programmable logic controller.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING ELECTROCHEMICALLY-CYCLED OXIDATION ON LANDFILL LEACHATE

A system and method for performing electrochemically-cycled oxidation on landfill leachate are provided for the removal of organic materials in landfill leachate which have an ultraviolet absorbance at 254 nm (UVA.sub.254), thus pre-treating the landfill leachate for co-treatment through dilution with municipal sewage. Electrochemical oxidation is performed on the landfill leachate in a first reactor chamber to produce hypochlorite (OCl.sup.−), followed by delayed application of ultraviolet radiation to produce hydroxyl radicals (OH.sup.•) and reactive chlorine species to break bonds in the organic materials. A portion of this partially-treated landfill leachate is then fed to a second reactor chamber for subsequent dichlorination through ultraviolet photolysis. An equivalent volume of fresh landfill leachate is fed into the first reactor chamber to begin the cycle again, allowing for continuous treatment of a source of landfill leachate.
