A portable carrier for storing one or more objects includes a first portion, a second portion, and a third portion. The first portion has a first side and a second side opposite the first side. The second portion has a third side and a fourth side opposite the third side. The third portion connects the first portion to the second portion and is adapted to allow the first portion and the second portion to transition between an open position and a closed position. The first side and the second side are transversely aligned with the third side and the fourth side, respectively, when the first portion and the second portion are in the open position, and the second side faces the fourth side with the first side opposite the third side when the first portion and the second portion are in the closed position.

An apparatus, method, and system for hardware mapping and management is disclosed. The apparatus may comprise a substrate housing hardware units associated with an object; one or more holes within the substrate for housing at least one hardware unit of the object are positioned based on a layout corresponding to the hardware units' assembly within the object.

An example powered appliance support system may include a shoulder strap and a powered appliance support strap. The shoulder step may include a padded portion to rest upon a shoulder of a person wearing the shoulder strap and a strap portion extending from the padded portion. The elastomeric stretcher may include a single body, wherein the elastomeric stretcher does not undergo stretching until experiencing a stretch triggering load at least 1 kg and no greater than 7 kg, wherein the elastomeric stretcher is formed from rubber or an elastomeric polymer and has first and second ends that inwardly taper.

A tool bag carrying assembly comprising a supporting clip for clamping a tool bag to a mounting structure. The clip includes a first frame and a second frame that are pivotably connected to one another, such as by a friction hinge. The first frame can include a pair of sloped arms and a support bar. A rotatable cylinder can slide over the support bar and rotate freely about a transverse axis over the support bar, so as to reduce friction between tool bag and clip. The sloped arms can form an open segment that enables ingress and egress of the tool bag onto the rotatable cylinder. The second frame can include a pair of mount legs and a mount bar that slide into the mounting structure as the first frame presses against the mounting structure from an opposing side.

A belt adapter for attaching objects to a belt includes a holding system for attaching the belt adapter to the belt, an opening extending along a vertical axis of the belt adapter, through which opening a carrier element can be inserted into the belt adapter, and a securing element which can be moved between an unlocked position, in which the carrier element can be inserted into and removed from the belt adapter, and a locked position for securely holding a carrier element inserted into the belt adapter in a locked position. A holding system comprises a belt adapter and a carrier element. The belt adapter ensures that the carrier element is reliably and securely held in place in that the securing element is designed to receive at least part of the carrier element and is movably guided along the vertical axis between the unlocked and locked positions.

A tape measure carrying assembly for storing a tape measure includes a strap that is folded over onto itself such that the strap forms a closed loop for receiving a belt worn on a user's pants. Moreover, the strap is stitched to itself to define a first portion of the closed loop and a second portion of the closed loop. The first portion receives the belt on the user's pants. A ring is suspended from the second portion of the closed loop defined by the strap. Additionally, the ring can engage a clip on a tape measure for storing the tape measure.

A device incorporating both a magnet and a living hinge may be employed to construct cases to protect electronic devices and to function as a closure for cases and lidded containers. Such cases often can be bent three 360° allowing the cases to be either closed protecting devices therein are closed upon themselves allowing the case to function to secure an electronic device to a substrate such as an article of clothing. The devices of the disclosure can also be used to organize and hold loose items together.

A tether tracking system configured to secure and monitor a one or more tools to prevent drops and accidents by a worker. The tether tracking system comprises a base portion, a two or more straps, a one or more hooks, a tool strap and a one or more hook anchors. The two or more straps comprise at least a first strap and a second strap. The first strap comprises a first end and a second end. The second strap comprises a first end and a second end. The two or more straps are attached to the base portion with the second end of the first strap and the second end of the second strap attached to the base portion. The first end of the second strap is attached to the tool strap. The tool strap is configured to selectively attach to one among a one or more tool tethers.

A support for a hand-operated device is disclosed herein. The support comprises an arm band having an inner surface configured to surround and contact at least a portion of a user's forearm, and an opposite outer surface, and a cordholder attached to the arm band, the cordholder having a length extending diagonally relative to the length direction of the user's radius when the arm band is mounted on the user's forearm. A corresponding method is also disclosed.
