Display cover glass includes a glass substrate. The glass substrate has a first panel and a second panel. An angle formed between the first panel and the second panel. The first panel has a first display area provided with an arbitrary first point. The second panel has a second display area provided with an arbitrary second point. The color difference value ΔE between the first point and the second point is less than or equal to 17 when the viewing angle difference between the first point and the second point is 10-60 degrees. The first panel and the second panel make it possible to display driving information, such as a navigation interface, and an operation interface in the two display areas respectively so that the driver of a means of transport can read the information clearly and use the operation interface with ease.

System and method for developing three-dimensional surface information corresponding to a contoured glass sheet

A system for acquiring surface data from one of the surfaces of a curved glass sheet and developing a surface definition of the glass sheet includes a conveyor for conveying the glass sheet in a first direction, at least one display projecting a preselected multi-phase non-repeating contrasting pattern, and at least one camera, each one of the cameras uniquely paired with one of the displays. The system may also include a control programmed to execute logic for controlling each of the camera/display pairs to acquire the desired images, and logic for analyzing and combining the data acquired by the cameras to construct a definition of the surface of the glass sheet.

GLASS ARTICLE HAVING FRAME CONFIGURED FOR MINIMAL SHAPE DEVIATION AND HAVING SMALL BEZEL WIDTH

Emobidments of a curved glass article are disclosed herein. The curved glass article includes a glass sheet first and second major surfaces. The glass sheet is bent to define a curved region disposed between flat sections. The curved glass article also includes a carrier adhered to the glass sheet. The carrier includes longitudinal strips and lateral strips. The longitudinal strips define the radius of curvature of the curved region. The lateral strips extend between the longitudinal strips. The glass sheet deviates 0.3 mm or less from planar in the flat sections. The longitudinal strips each have a width W.sub.long of 2 mm or less. The first lateral strips each have a width W.sub.lat of 20 mm or less. At least a portion of the width W.sub.lat of each lateral strip is located in the curved region and a flat section.
