The present invention relates to an applicator for applying a cosmetic, makeup or care, product to the eyelashes and/or eyebrows, having a moulded applicator member (8) having:—a core (10) that extends along a longitudinal axis (X),—spikes (15, 16) that are carried by the core (10) and are disposed all around the core (10) in a plurality of longitudinal rows (17, 19), wherein, in said applicator, at least one longitudinal row (17) has an alternation of curved spikes (16) that each extend along a curvilinear elongation axis (E.sub.c) and straight spikes (15) that each extend along a rectilinear elongation axis (E.sub.r).

Systems and methods for cleaning or sanitizing a finger. A container has an interior sized to receive a finger, the container having a bottom portion and a wall portion extending from the bottom portion to an opening along an edge of the wall portion through which the finger may be received. The wall portion and bottom portion each have an interior surface within the container. A plurality of bristles extend from an interior surface of the container for contact with a portion of the finger when liquid is in the container.

An applicator for a cosmetic product to keratinous materials, particularly to keratinous fibers, notably to the eyelashes, the eyebrows and/or the capillary fibers, includes a core that extends along a longitudinal axis, a cosmetic product application element having at least one block of a foam attached to the core, the foam being an open-cell polymer foam which on its outer surface has free strands formed by all or part of the edge corners of cells that have been cut through by the machining of the foam.

An apparatus including but not limited to a plunger driven dispenser comprising a handle having an inner section and an outer section and a top; a storage chamber formed inside of the inner section the contains a highly viscous product, wherein the storage chamber has a tapered opening at the bottom and an aperture in the top of the storage chamber, wherein the aperture further comprises a coned tip surrounding the aperture; a syringe and plunger formed inside of the outer section that fits into the storage chamber and extrudes the cosmetic product through the coned tip aperture under pressure applied to the plunger; and an aperture in the top that receives cosmetic product from the storage chamber through the coned tip aperture and a spike to seal the storage chamber.

The brush for the application of fluid products, particularly for powdery, creamy, liquid products or the like, comprises a plurality of spreading elements to spread a fluid product on a work surface and having a first ending part associated with a support element and a second free ending part, opposite to the first ending part and adapted to take and apply the product, in which the support element is made of a flexible material.

The present invention relates to a brush (8) for applying a cosmetic product to the eyelashes and/or eyebrows, comprising: a core (10) of plastic material, having a longitudinal axis, spikes (11, 13) carried by the core, including at least a first row of spikes extending longitudinally, this row comprising a series of at least four consecutive spikes positioned at respective abscissae x.sub.1 to x.sub.4 along the longitudinal axis, with d.sub.1=x.sub.2−x.sub.1, d.sub.2=X.sub.3−x.sub.2, d.sub.3=x.sub.4−X.sub.3 and d.sub.1, d.sub.2 and d.sub.3 being different in pairs.

A cosmetic applicator for applying a substance to keratin fibers is disclosed herein. In an embodiment, the cosmetic applicator includes a guiding element and a coil spring element. The guiding element is positioned in a central area of the coil spring element. The coil spring element winds more than one time completely around the guiding element and has spikes protruding in an outward direction.

[Problem] This invention provides a makeup brush that not only enables easy application of cosmetics such as blushers and eyeshadows while creating gradations, but also achieves a beautiful finish, without requiring special makeup techniques. [Solution] A makeup brush 1, wherein an upper opening portion 2a of a cylindrical member 2 is formed into an arc shape having a predetermined width when planarly viewed, and a tip surface 3a of a brush 3 that is formed by tips of bristles extending upward from the upper opening portion of the cylindrical member is a composite curved surface having a first protruding curved surface 6 that is formed in such a manner that a length of brush bristles becomes gradually longer from an inner curved surface 4 having the arc shape toward an outer curved surface 5 having the arc shape, and a second protruding curved surface 7 that is formed in such a manner that the length of the brush bristles gradually changes along a length direction of the arc shape and that the brush bristles are the longest at approximately a central portion.
