BRUSH, TOOTHBRUSH, AND ASSOCIATED PRODUCTION METHOD
A brush, particularly a toothbrush, includes a head part with a cleaning structure that includes bristles, a hand part and a neck part, a cavity including at least one outlet opening for an active substance being located in the head or neck part. In one embodiment, the cavity incorporates an active substance element, containing the active substance in a carrier material and releases said substance in a controlled mariner when it comes into contact with water. In another embodiment, the cavity is adapted to the shape of an active substance element by means of defined external contours. The volume of the cavity is preferably 1-2 times and no more than 4 times greater than the volume of the active substance element, ensuring that the latter is preferably surrounded by water during use. This allows the active substance to be effectively metered and ensures that the brush is easy to use.
Method of forming an oral care implement
An oral care implement having a handle, and a head having a main body that is coupled to the handle. The head may include a release component coupled to the main body. The release component may include a water-dissolvable matrix comprising a first polymer having a processing temperature greater than or equal to 150? C. The oral care implement may include a plurality of tooth cleaning elements. A method of forming an oral care implement which includes injection molding a composition comprising a graft polymer onto a head of an oral care implement at a temperature equal to or greater than 130? C. to form a water-dissolvable polymer matrix.

Oral Care Implement
Described herein is an oral care implement comprising a handle, and a head having a main body that is coupled to the handle, the head comprising a release component coupled to the main body, the release component comprising a water-dissolvable matrix comprising a first polymer having a processing temperature greater than or equal to 150? C., and a plurality of tooth cleaning elements.
Brushhead for use with a non-Newtonian cosmetic composition
The brushhead includes a brushhead base member and at least one outer ring of bristles mounted thereto, the brush base member being non-oscillating. An inner assembly is adapted to capture a solid, semi-solid, gel or the like non-Newtonian balm element having shear thinning characteristics. In an embodiment, the inner assembly is adapted to receive energy from an oscillating action of the inner assembly produced by a motor in the appliance to which the brushhead is attachable. Oscillation of the inner portion at a selected frequency and amplitude results in the solid, semi-solid, gel or the like balm element changing to a liquid in a shear thinning effect, the liquid being useful for removal of makeup.
Teeth cleaning implement
A teeth cleaning implement includes a deformable hollow body having a volume of dentrifice secured within a central void of the body. Bristles are secured about the outer surface of the body. A plurality of apertures in environmental communication with the central void of the body are placed about and through the outer surface of the body to permit the passage of the dentrifice.
Oral Care Implement
An oral care implement having electrodes thereon. In one aspect, the oral care implement may include a handle and a head, the head having an exposed outer surface. A first depression is formed in the exposed outer surface of the head. A first sacrificial electrode is disposed within the first depression and has an exposed surface that is recessed relative to the exposed outer surface of the head. A second electrode is located on the head. Each of the first and second electrodes is operably coupled to a power source to have opposite electrical charges.
Oral Care Implement
An oral care implement having electrodes thereon. In one aspect, the oral care implement may include a handle and a head, the head having a transverse through hole defined by an upper surface and a lower surface. A first electrode and a second electrode are located on the head and operably coupled to a power source to have opposite electrical charges. At least one of the first and second electrodes may be located on one of the upper and lower surfaces of the transverse through hole. In some embodiments, the first electrode is located on the upper surface of the transverse through hole and the second electrode is located on the lower surface of the transverse through hole.
Oral Care Implement
An oral care implement having electrodes thereon. In one aspect, the oral care implement may include a handle and a head, the head having a front surface and an opposite rear surface. A plurality of tooth cleaning elements may extend from the front surface of the head. A soft tissue cleaner may be located on the rear surface of the head, the soft tissue cleaner including a protuberance field. A first electrode and a second electrode are each operably coupled to a power source to have opposite electrical charges. The first and second electrodes may be spaced apart from one another and substantially surround the protuberance field. In other embodiments, the first and second electrodes may be embedded within or otherwise located within the protuberance field.
Oral Care Implement
An oral care implement having electrodes thereon. In one aspect, the oral care implement may include a handle and a head, the head having an outer surface. A plurality of tooth cleaning elements extend from the head. At least one oral care agent dispenser is located on the head. A first electrode and a second electrode are located on the head and operably coupled to a power source to have opposite electrical charges. In some embodiments at least one of the first and second electrodes may be a sacrificial electrode. The oral care agent dispenser may be an outlet that is coupled to an oral care fluid in a reservoir and/or a solid release polymer that releases an oral care agent over time during use of the oral care implement.
