Toothbrush system
A toothbrush apparatus, a method, and a medical system. The apparatus includes a sensing module configured to detect one or more brushing parameters for determining at least a brushing intensity. One or more processors are communicatively coupled to the sensing module and are configured to determine at least the brushing intensity and output the determined brushing intensity.
Personal Grooming Glove Device
A personal grooming glove device for brushing and styling hair includes a dominant hand glove designed to be worn on a dominant hand of a user. A brush pad may be coupled to the dominant hand glove. The brush pad has an interior space. A bristle base is positioned in the interior space. A plurality of bristles is coupled to the bristle base. A position of the bristle base is adjustable to retract the plurality of bristles. A bristle button is actuatable to adjust the position of the bristle base. A retainer is coupled to the bristle button to releasably secure the position of the bristle base. A cam base engages a cam guide to secure the position of the bristle base. A spring coupled to the button urges the bristle base upwardly to extend the plurality of bristles when the cam base releases the cam guide.
PERSONAL CARE DEVICE WITH CAMERA
A personal care system having a treatment device for applying a treatment to the skin or hair of a user is provided. The treatment device has a camera for taking an image of the skin. The system may include or be in communication with an application programming interface (API) that can process the image. The system or an associated API can recommend the use of treatment regimens or topical products according to information determined from the digital image of the skin.
Haircare appliance
A haircare apparatus has a plurality of capacitive sensors, each capacitive sensor configured to provide a capacitance reading indicative of hair proximal to the haircare apparatus. The haircare apparatus has a moisture estimation module configured to estimate, based on capacitance readings of the plurality of capacitive sensors, a moisture level of the hair proximal to the haircare apparatus.
Sponge Toothbrush Device
A sponge toothbrush device is provided. The device is comprised of a toothbrush with a head with a central antimicrobial sponge surrounded by bristles and an ergonomically designed handle, offering enhanced cleaning efficiency and user comfort. The central sponge, made of medical-grade foam with quick-drying properties, absorbs and retains debris while reducing bacterial growth, and its placement ensures gentle contact with teeth and gums. Surrounding bristles, which may vary in length, material, and pattern, complement the sponge by targeting surface debris and gumlines. A method of use involves applying toothpaste, brushing with motions that optimize the sponge and bristles'performance, and rinsing the device to maintain hygiene, ensuring comprehensive oral care and prolonged usability.
Smart toothbrush that tracks and removes dental plaque
The exemplary embodiments disclose an apparatus, a system and method, and a computer program product for removing dental plaque. The exemplary embodiments may include emitting light, detecting reflections of the light, analyzing the reflected light, and determining an amount or location of dental plaque based on the reflected light.
Brush for sonic toothbrush with longitudinal axis vibration
A brush for a sonic toothbrush with longitudinal axis vibration having an elongated base body has a frustoconical base portion with a drive adapter for rotation-fixed coupling to a sonic toothbrush drive with longitudinal axis vibration, and a head portion with a bristle support in which a plurality of bristles are anchored, and an elongated neck portion connecting the base portion and the head portion is disclosed. The base body forms a kink angle in that a geometric base portion longitudinal axis and a geometric head portion alignment axis include an angle in the range of 5 to 12. A geometric kink position in the base body has a distance from an end face of the base portion of at least 50% of a total length of the base body.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR STYLING HAIR
An apparatus for styling hair includes a heater for heating hair, and at least one sensor on a casing of the apparatus for determining hair temperature while performing a styling process. A controller is configured to control the apparatus to take at least one action for controlling the styling process based on an output of the at least one sensor. The apparatus may include: a heater element for heating hair; a sensing portion having one or more temperature sensor(s); and a region between the heater element and the sensing portion arranged to restrict propagation of heat from the heater element towards the sensing portion.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING BIOMARKERS
An oral care implement, oral care system, and/or method for detecting the presence or absence of hemoglobin/blood in a user's oral cavity. The oral care implement may include a cavity for receiving a saliva sample from a user and a closure member that can close the cavity for purposes discussed herein. The oral care system may include a handle, a refill head, and a collection cup, with the refill head and collection cup being detachably coupled to the handle. A sample of the user's saliva may be introduced into the collection cup. The handle may include a sensor that can obtain information related to the presence or absence of hemoglobin/blood in the oral cavity or in a sample of the user's saliva. The sensor may be operably coupled to a processor that can determine whether hemoglobin is present in the sample based on the information obtained by the sensor.
