METHOD AND COMPOSITION TO PRODUCE HIGH TRANSLUCENCY DENTAL CERAMICS

Translucency of a yttria-stabilized zirconia ceramic is improved to achieve even higher translucency than what is currently offered on the market, without greatly altering its mechanical properties. The enhancement is done by incorporating magnesium-containing dopants into the microstructure of yttria-stabilized zirconia ceramic dental ceramics.

COMPACT CONTAINER HAVING DISCHARGE PLATE MADE OF CERAMIC
20170347772 · 2017-12-07 ·

The present invention relates to a compact container having a discharge plate made of ceramic, and more specifically, a compact container having a discharge plate made of ceramic, wherein, since the discharge plate is made of ceramic, the discharge plate is not to be worn out when a user spreads gel contents on the discharge plate and impregnates the puff with the gel contents. The ceramic which forms the discharge plate has high hardness and excellent heat resistance and wear resistance, thereby enabling long-time use. Cosmetic is allowed to exert antibacterial and antiseptic actions and heavy metal-removing and deodorizing functions when passing through the discharge plate. In addition, since the discharge plate is made of ceramic, the discharge plate is not bent and is lowered down with the entire part thereof balanced, even when the user presses the discharge plate for use of the cosmetic.

TRANSLUCENT ZIRCONIA SINTERED BODY, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME, AND USE THEREOF
20170349494 · 2017-12-07 · ·

Provided is a zirconia sintered body having both high translucency and high strength. The zirconia sintered body includes crystal grains that include a cubic domain and a tetragonal domain, wherein a stabilizer and lanthanum is dissolved as a solid solution therein. The sintered body can be obtained by a manufacturing method including: a mixing step of obtaining a mixed powder by mixing a zirconia source, a stabilizer source, and a lanthanum source; a molding step of obtaining a green body by molding the obtained mixed powder; a sintering step of obtaining a sintered body by sintering the obtained green body at a sintering temperature of 1650° C. or higher; and a temperature lowering step of lowering the temperature from the sintering temperature to 1000° C. at a temperature lowering rate exceeding 1° C./min.

BARIUM COMPOUND STRUCTURE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

Provided is a barium compound structure including: a plurality of first compound particles containing a barium compound that is crystalline and is different from barium sulfate; a binding part covering a surface of each of the plurality of first compound particles and containing barium sulfate that is crystalline; and a plurality of second compound particles containing a compound that contains silicon. The first compound particles are bound through at least one of the binding part or the plurality of second compound particles.

METHOD FOR POST-PROCESSING COLORED ZIRCONIUM OXIDE CERAMIC
20170341992 · 2017-11-30 ·

A method for post-processing a colored zirconium oxide ceramic, the method comprising: putting the colored zirconium oxide ceramic along with a deoxidant into a heating device, conducting a firing process at a preset temperature, and a colorant containing Pr.sup.3+ is used for the coloring, and the deoxidant is excessive with respect to a stoichiometric amount of oxygen in the heating device. The technical solution can completely replace Pe.sup.3+ with Pr.sup.3+ to color the zirconium oxide ceramic yellow.
