MACRO-CEMENT COMPOSITIONS, METHOD OF PRODUCING MACRO-CEMENT AND ENGINEERED FORMS OF MACRO-CEMENT, AND MULTI-STAGE HOMOGENIZATION PROCESS FOR PREPARING CEMENT BASED MATERIALS
A macro-cement and associated methods useful for preparing pastes, mortars, concretes and other cement-based materials having high workability, high density, and high strength are disclosed. A method of producing a macro-cement includes cement, supplemental cementitious materials (SCM's), including siliceous submicron-sized particles and nano-sized particles, and polymers in the form of liquid or dry chemical admixtures for concrete. The cement mixture may be used for making ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC).

PRECARBONATION OF CEMENT MIXES
The invention provides methods and compositions for carbonation of a wet cement mix. The wet cement mix may be carbonated prior to addition of aggregates, admixture, SCM, and/or other components to produce a carbonated concrete mix. The methods and compositions may include high shear mixing of a cement or concrete mix, either during or before carbonation.

Innovative cementitious composites (ICC): high-volume reclaimed asphalt pavement aggregate
An ultra-high-performance cement composites comprising cement, a polycarboxylate ether-based superplasticizer, fly ash, silica fume, reclaimed asphalt pavement granules, water and red sand. A very low water-to-binder ratio could be obtained using the polycarboxylate ether-based superplasticizer that overcomes the hydrophobic properties of reclaimed asphalt pavement and yields an ultra-high-performance cement composite.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A THERMALLY INSULATING MORTAR
A method for producing a thermally insulating mortar includes introducing water, cement and a liquid surfactant containing a foam concentrate that forms a foam in a predetermined mixing ratio into a mixing device provided with a mixing impeller, and rotating the mixing impeller at a very high speed, wherein a homogeneous mixing between the water, the cement and the formed foam occurs.

LIGHTWEIGHT FOAMED CEMENT, CEMENT BOARD, AND METHODS FOR MAKING SAME
Disclosed is a foamed cementitious composition which limits or eliminates aggregate, especially porous lightweight aggregate and uses a lower than usual water to cementitious composition weight ratio. The stable cementitious foam mixtures may be employed to make cement boards and other cement products. The foamed cementitious composition was made with additions of PVOH foaming stabilizer and surfactant foaming agents to make foam water or by entrain air into cementitious slurry mixtures. The cementitious mixtures have a limited amount or preferably no perlite and no lightweight aggregate. The resulting foamed mixture had foam bubbles with size in the range of 50 to 200 m. After setting the foamed cementitious composition the resulting set board has air cells with size in the range of 50 to 200 m.

Macro defect free cement with improved moisture resistance
A cementitious composition may include polyvinyl alcohol, high alumina cement, water, a metallic coagent, a peroxide crosslinking initiator, and an organic acid retardant. A molded article may be manufactured from the cementitious composition by preparing a hydrogel pre-polymer blend of saponified polyvinyl alcohol acetate (PVAA) with greater than or equal to approximately 85% saponified PVAA, and water, mixing the hydrogel pre-polymer blend with high alumina cement (HAC) using a high shear mixing process, mixing in a metallic coagent and a peroxide crosslinking initiator, mixing in an organic acid retardant, and hot press molding the mixture.
