An apparatus for collecting hair and other bodily particles using static electricity. Preferably the apparatus comprises a base, a cylinder disposed on the base capable of holding a static electrical charge, a brush disposed on the base such that its bristles are in electrostatic contact with the cylinder, and a cylinder rotation device capable of rotating the cylinder against the brush. Various embodiments of the apparatus include various: numbers, orientations and shapes of brushes; securing devices; types of motors; vacuum ports; mats; and containers.
Drying and Brushing Apparatus and Method
Provided is an apparatus which simultaneously dries and brushes animals with hair or fur. A positive air pressure source is forced through a general air passageway configuration, comprising a tube, a handle member air passageway, a brush member air passageway, and an outward air aperture. A handle member, comprising a heat adjuster and airflow adjuster, connects to a brush member including an air aperture, a bristle base, and bristles. The bristle base is detachable from the brush member. A depressible prong mechanism is fastened to the handle member for repeated connection and disconnection of the handle member and the brush member. The detachable bristle base and the disconnection of the handle member from the brush member allows for effective apparatus cleaning which leads to more efficient animal drying.
PLASMA TREATMENT DEVICE WITH BRUSH HEAD
A plasma treatment device (1), designed for treating a surface with a dielectrically impeded plasma, comprising an electrode arrangement (5) which has at least one electrode (3), and comprising dielectric (7) which completely covers the electrode (3) in relation to the surface to be treated, and comprising a housing (9) which contains a line arrangement (11) which comprises at least one high-voltage supply line (10, 10a, 10b), wherein the electrode (3) is connected to the line arrangement (11) and can be acted on by a high-voltage signal (13a, 13b), which can be applied to the high-voltage supply line (10, 10a, 10b), via the high-voltage supply line (10, 10a, 10b), allows, in a simple manner, the combination of an effective plasma treatment with an effective mechanical treatment of the surface to be treated by way of the plasma treatment device (1) having a brush head (15) which has a bristle area (17) and a bristle support (19) with a base surface (21), wherein the bristle area (17) has a large number of flexible bristles (23) and interspaces between the bristles (23), and the bristles (23) protrude from the base surface (21) of the bristle support (19) in a direction of an abutment surface (27) which is defined by those ends of the longest bristles (23) of the bristle area (17) that are averted from the base surface (21), wherein the bristle area (17) has a first length which is defined by the distance between the base surface (21) and the abutment surface (27), and wherein the at least one electrode (3) of the electrode arrangement (5), starting from the base surface (21), extends with a second length, which is smaller than the first length or equal to the first length and is at least 30% of the first length, into the bristle area (17) in the direction of the abutment surface (27).
Pet Bathing Brush Device
A pet bathing brush device for use in bathing an animal includes a shell that defines an interior space. A pipe is coupled to and extends from a first end of the shell and is in fluidic communication with the interior space. The pipe is engageable to a water inlet hose to allow water to flow into the interior space. A plurality of tubes is coupled to and extends from a second end of the shell. The tubes are open ended and in fluidic communication with the interior space. The tubes are used to comb hair of an animal while directing the water onto the hair and skin. A panel is coupled to the shell and defines a reservoir within the interior space. A liquid soap solution can be positioned in the reservoir and selectively dispensed into the water flowing through the interior space to lather the animal.
Coat grooming device and method for brushing a coat
A device having a frame, a grooming unit connected to the frame, a rotatable brush belt within the grooming unit, and a drive operatively connected to the brush belt for rotating the brush belt. The brush belt is held at an angle relative to the skin lying beneath the coat so that hairs of the coat, are brushed away from the skin and preventing jamming of the belt. The device also includes a guard which assists in lifting the hairs of the coat away from the skin and further prevents the hairs from being wrapped around the moving parts of the device. The brush belt is held at an angle relative to the skin by a curved spacer so that loose hairs can be properly suctioned away when the device is in use.
Apparatus, System and Method for Drying Pets
An apparatus, a system and a method for drying pets include a blower that directs a flow of air through two tubes to two mitts. The two mitts receive the flow of air from the blower and direct the flow of air through perforations to dry the pet. The air may flow through tapered channels within the mitts.
Hand attachable animal washing apparatus
A hand attachable animal washing apparatus, attachable upon the hand of a user, enables singlehanded control of waterflow and application of water into the coat of an animal. Control of waterflow though a molded body member is enabled by operation of a compressible portion disposed to control a valve assembly disposed interiorly within the molded body member. A proximal arced edge is disposed projected rearwardly from the molded body member and curved downward to direct waterflow away from a user operating the device, particularly when the device is elevated above a user, as when washing a large animal such as a horse, for example. A user may thereby control and apply water to an animal with one hand while securing and comforting the animal with the other hand.
Surface attachable washing apparatus
A surface attachable washing apparatus enables easy control of water flow through a molded body member. A valve assembly, disposed interiorly within the body member, is actuated by simple depression of an overlying portion of an obverse surface of the molded body member, to toggle a valve assembly between each of a closed position and an open position. Water flow is therefore controllable by manual pressure to alternately emit and prevent water flow sprayed through each of a plurality of outlets. At least one suction cup enables selective positioning of the molded body member upon a surface distally situated relative to an existing water outlet to which the apparatus is connected. A user may therefore position the apparatus at a desired height in the bath room, for example, to correspond with a child who can then easily control of the water flow during bath time.
Pet care device and method for controlling pet care device
A pet care device may include a removable or swappable care tool mounted on a head. The head may include a sterilizer and a sensor to determine what kind of care tool is mounted. A controller may identify the type of care tool mounted on the head based on a sensing value of the sensor and control the sterilizer based on the identified care tool.
Livestock insecticide application system
A system for applying an insecticide onto livestock. The system includes a gate assembly, two side brush assemblies, and an applicator assembly. During use, an animal contacts the applicator assembly, thereby causing the insecticide to exit the applicator assembly and contact the animal, where it is applied by the applicator assembly and the two side brush assemblies. The system is configured to efficiently and conveniently apply the insecticide onto the animal and reduce or eliminate a need for manually applying the insecticide onto the animal.
