A cleaning swab device and method for cleaning a fluid coupling or connector. The device includes a generally elongate cylindrical tubular swab body, and a channel formed at an end thereof to define at least one cleaning finger for insertion into a housing and/or port of the connector to remove residual fluids, clean and disinfect the connector. The cleaning device optionally further includes a guide stem or plunger configured to extend through the tubular body of the swab, having a plug at one end for sealing debris out of a lumen of the connector during cleaning.

Variable inertial particle separator

Inertial particle separators having an axially translating or a deformable poppet component are described. The poppet component axially translates to accommodate a wide range of flowrates through the inertial particle separator. In some arrangements, the poppet component is biased by a spring towards a closed or restricted position. The variable flowrate and constriction provided by the poppet maintains a substantially constant pressure drop and separation efficiency during operation across a wide range of flowrates through the separators.

The weighted sack contains a bead composition having a combination of weighted beads and cushion beads. The weighted beads are made a non-reactive heavy material and are preferably spherical in shape. The cushion beads are smaller in size than the weighted beads and are made from a lightweight material. The number of cushion beads in the weighted sack exceeds the number of the weighted beads such that the cushion beads have a higher volumetric weight in the weighted sack compared to the weighted beads.

The weighted deformable cleaning device deforms to pass through narrow openings of a container, such as a bottle. The added mass from the weighted sack allows for increased frictional cleaning forces when the container is agitated, thereby increasing the cleaning efficiency of the device.

The main body includes a streamlined pressure casing, and a drive mechanism and a water ballast tank which are located in the pressure casing. The attraction module includes electromagnets which are symmetrically provided at a bottom of the pressure casing. The motion module includes first and second motion mechanisms which are symmetrically provided at opposite sides of the pressure casing. A traveling path of the first motion mechanisms is perpendicular to a traveling path of the second motion mechanisms. The intelligent robot achieves cleaning and mending for both sides of the net cage, and is simple to operate, safe, high-efficient, economical and convenient.
