FORMULATION COMPRISING A CELLULOSE ETHER AND/OR A POLYSACCARIDE, AND A FATTY ALCOHOL
The invention relates to a preparation comprising at least one cellulose ether and/or at least one polysaccharide and at least one fatty alcohol, and to the production and use thereof, in particular in construction materials.
Anti-dust additive composition for construction material
An anti-dust additive composition for industrial mortars, dry coatings, cements and tile adhesives, includes at least a hydrocarbon fluid, a surfactant and 0.01% to 5% wt of water, preferably from 0.01% to 2% wt, more preferably from 0.01% to 1% wt and even more preferably from 0.05% to 0.5% wt of water. A process of preparation of construction material includes the step of adding the anti-dust additive composition to a material powdery binder. The use of the anti-dust additive composition for decreasing the dust emission during the fabrication of construction material with a material powdery binder and/or during the use of the construction material is also disclosed.
METHOD FOR MODIFYING POLYSACCHARIDE MATERIAL BY SEQUENCED HOMOGENEOUS CHEMICAL FUNCTIONALISATION
The present invention concerns a method for modifying a polysaccharide material, preferably an amylaceous material, involving a first step of homogeneous solubilisation of said polysaccharide material in an aqueous solvent, followed by a step of homogeneous chemical functionalisation comprising at least one non-crosslinking chemical modification, or at least one crosslinking chemical modification, or a sequence of at least one non-crosslinking chemical modification and at least one crosslinking chemical modification. Secondly, the present invention concerns a modified polysaccharide material, in particular obtained by the method according to the invention, characterised in that it has a novel distribution of the chemical substituents attached to the hydroxyl functions of the anhydroglucose units of said polysaccharide material. The novel starches can be used as organic adjuvants for dry mortars made from cement or made from gypsum, in particular as a binder for a dry mortar made from cement or as a thickening agent for a mortar made from plaster.
CEMENTITIOUS COMPOSITION COMPRISING POWDERED POLYURETHANE
A cementitious composition, in particular a dry mortar, including a) 5-50 mass parts, preferably 10-45 mass parts, more preferably 15-29 mass parts of a composite hydraulic binder, b) 0.1-4 mass parts, preferably 0.5-3 mass parts, more preferably 1-2 mass parts of powdered polyurethane, and c) optionally 50-90 mass parts, preferably 60-85 mass parts of aggregate. The cementitious composition is particularly useful as a cementitious tile adhesive, a render or part of a render system.
DECARBONIZED CEMENT BLENDS
Various embodiments include cementitious compositions with low levels of embodied greenhouse gas emissions, in particular carbon dioxide, as a result of its production and/or use compared to conventional cementitious materials, such as portland cement. Various embodiments include any cementitious material or materials with low embodied carbon, as well as any material produced using this cement.
Method for the construction of a data center
A method for the construction of a data center, includes (a) providing a fresh concrete composition including a paste that includes a hydraulic binder, a mineral addition and water, the paste being present in a mixture with sand and aggregates, whereby the paste is present in the concrete composition in a volume of <320 L/m.sup.3 and/or the solid volume fraction of said paste is >50 vol.-% and (b) placing the fresh concrete composition so as to build walls, a floor and/or a ceiling of the data center, which are intended to surround the individual components of computer systems, which are housed in the data center.
Composite heat insulation system
The invention relates to a composite heat insulation system, comprising an insulating layer, optionally a reinforcing layer, which is applied to the insulating layer, and a cover layer, which is applied to the insulating layer or, if present, to the reinforcing layer, characterized in that the cover layer contains composite particles, wherein the composite particles contain at least one organic polymer and at least one inorganic solid, wherein the weight percentage of inorganic solid is 15 to 40 wt %, with respect to the total weight of organic polymer and inorganic solid in the composite particle.
Process for Producing a Binder
The invention relates to a method of producing a binder comprising the steps of preparing (20) a residual material comprising amorphous alumina-rich and/or aluminium hydroxide-rich constituents, heating (30) the residual material to produce a fired material, the heating (30) of the residual material being at a temperature of >800° C.
INORGANIC MATERIAL WITH IMPROVED PROPERTIES
Suggested is a solid formed with Si, Al, Ca, O and at least one of Na and K, characterized in that in the .sup.27Al-MAS-NMR spectra of the solid compared to the .sup.27Al-MAS-NMR spectrum of calcium aluminate, an additional signal is present which has a chemical shift which lies between that of the main peak of calcium aluminate and that peak of calcium aluminate which is closest to the main peak in the higher field. 2.
MINERAL BINDER COMPOSITIONS WITH ACCELERATED SETTING AND/OR CURING
Mineral binder compositions with accelerated setting and/or curing including a mineral binder, at least one free-radical initiator, and at least one catalyst for the at least one free-radical initiator. The mineral binder compositions accelerated setting and hardening and are especially useful for applications at low temperatures and even below 0° C.
