A wash apparatus for a vehicle wash installation is provided, which includes a shaft drivable in rotation about a rotation axis and wash elements operatively connected thereto. In order to be able to adapt to the contour of a vehicle, the wash apparatus can be divided axially in two or more wash apparatus segments and that the at least one wash apparatus segment includes a wash element holding body having wash elements held thereto, said wash element holding body defining a wash apparatus segment axis which is different from the rotation axis, and a gear device which couples the shaft to the wash element holding body in order to rotate same about the wash apparatus segment axis, wherein the wash element holding body is configured for pivotal movement relative to the shaft via the gear device. Furthermore, a vehicle wash installation including a wash apparatus is provided.
Portable scrubbing and cleaning device with interchangeable brush and cleaning solution cylinder
Embodiments of a portable scrubbing and cleaning device of this disclosure include a rounded brush head to make the device ergonomically friendly no matter how a user holds it; sliding bottle inside of a main body or housing with a cap on one end for quick and easy refilling of cleaning solution; fins on the inside of main body and slots on the bottle so as to not allow the bottle from spinning when the cap is being screwed or unscrewed; and a diamond cut, knurled finish on main body for a sure grip.
Wheel brush and lug nut cleaner
A wheel and lug nut cleaning device providing a single tool for cleaning behind and between spokes of a wheel rim, the lug nuts, and rim cavities theraround by including a handle having a rear portion with a lug nut and rim cavity-cleaning body thereon and a releasable front portion pivotably disposed on the rear portion and having brush head thereon. A knuckle guard is disposed on the front portion. The brush head has a non-abrasive shaft and bristles including convex first and second bristle sets forwardly and rearwardly extending therefrom to facilitate cleaning crevices, corners, and concave surfaces of the wheel and behind the spoke edges, respectively. Flexible cleaning flanges, preferably covered with a soft microfiber, extend from a central base of the lug nut and rim cavity-cleaning body to fit into and rotate to clean around the wheel lug nuts and the walls of the wheel rim simultaneously.
DEVICE FOR DISPENSING CHEMICAL ONTO A TIRE BRUSH
A device for use in dispensing tire chemical onto a cylindrical car tire brush, comprising, an elongated shield having a concave inside surface having a curvature generally matching the outside curvature of the cylindrical brush, a port entering into the inside surface of the shield for receiving a chemical, and at least one distribution groove formed into the inside surface, which distribution groove communicates with the port and is inclined downwardly at an angle so as to distribute the chemical longitudinally along the said inside surface.
WHEEL FLANGE DRAINAGE CHANNEL CLEANING DEVICE
Disclosed is a wheel flange drainage channel cleaning device, comprising a frame, lifting cylinders, guide posts, a servo motor, a lifting platform, a bearing seat, a shaft, a bearing, a rotating platform, a sleeve and the like. Four clamping cylinders move synchronously to clamp a wheel, the lifting cylinders may control ascending and descending of the lifting platform, the servo motor may control rotation of the rotating platform, and when the linear motor drives the racks to reciprocate up and down, the brushes swing left and right, so that aluminum scraps blocked in drainage channels beside the central hole and outside the central hole are easily cleaned.
Head for Washing Vehicle Wheels
It comprises a housing (1) wherein a ring-shaped brush (2) and a central axis (3) to which a central brush (4) is joined are integrally fastened. The ring-shaped brush (2) delimits an inner space wherein the central brush (4) as well as other intermediate brushes (5) arranged around the central brush are housed. The head further comprises a front disc (6) with idler rotation; wherein said front disc (6) separates two opposing areas: a first area where the central brush as well as the intermediate brushes are, and a second area where a transmission mechanism is located that transmits a rotational movement to the intermediate brushes fastened to satellite axes (12) fitted in tubular junctions (6a) secured to the front disc. It enables the correct cleaning of the inner surface of the gaps in the rims of the wheels.
CAR WASH MITTER AND RELATED METHOD OF USE
An overhead vehicle wash mitter apparatus is provided. A mitter curtain can include multiple mitters that sway above a vehicle pathway as a vehicle travels along the pathway. Each mitter can include an upper end and a lower end closer to the vehicle pathway, a sheath defining an interior tube and an exterior surface that engages a vehicle surface, and a pad in the sheath. The pad can press outward on the sheath so that the sheath attains a first thickness, which can be at least ? inch, at least 1 inch, at least 1 ? inch or more, so the sheath is impaired from entering between a wiper and a surface of the vehicle, such as a window. Accordingly, damage to the wiper of the vehicle is prevented when the mitter engages the surface and the wiper. A related method of use is provided.
ROTARY BRUSH MAIN PART AND ROTARY BRUSH
A rotary brush for processing the surface of a vehicle includes a rotary brush main part and a plurality of fill material holders that are arranged on an outer lateral surface of the rotary brush main part spaced apart from one another in the circumferential direction thereof. Each fill material holder can be secured to the rotary brush main part in a plurality of stop positions spaced apart in the radial direction of the rotary brush main part.
NOZZLE STRUCTURE WITH BRISTLE BUNCHES
A nozzle structure with a plurality of bristle bunches includes a mouth-shaped casing and a plurality of bristle bunches. The mouth-shaped casing has a first end portion with an air inlet and a second end portion opposite to the first end portion. The second end portion has a plurality of outlet pores arranged in parallel and a plurality of bristle pores. Each of the outlet pores connects to the air inlet via a ventilated space inside the mouth-shaped casing, and the plurality of bristle bunches are implanted in the bristle pores of the mouth-shaped casing. In addition, the bristle bunches protrude further out from the outlet pores.
