METHOD FOR PRODUCING FERTILIZER FROM A BIOPOLYMER, AND FERTILIZER
20170267597 · 2017-09-21 · ·

The invention relates to a method for producing a nitrogen-containing fertilizer from a liquid black liquor, wherein a black liquor is formed from lignocellulose-containing biomass. A majority of contained lignin constituents are decomposed into monomeric, dimeric to trimeric compounds, and at least one free alkanolamine, in particular monoethanolamine, is removed from the liquid black liquor. The black liquor is cooled to room temperature and combined with water, a defined flowable state of the black liquor being set. The flowable black liquor is supplied to a mixing device and combined with powder solids so as to form a pasty mixture which is formed into granules.

Synergist for improving crop stress resistance and fertilizer absorption capacity

The invention discloses a synergist for improving crop resistance and fertilizer absorption capacity. The synergist includes the following components by weight: 20-30 parts of an oyster shell powder, 20-30 parts of a water chestnut skin powder, 10-20 parts of a chinaberry bark powder, 10-20 parts of a magnetic material, 10-20 parts of an illite powder, 5-10 parts of a shiitake mushroom polysaccharide extract. The synergist can, on one hand, improve the resistance of crops, especially reducing the pests and diseases significantly, improving waterlogging and drought resistance; and, on the other hand, greatly reduce the use of fertilizers, especially nitrogen fertilizers, preventing soil compaction. It can also significantly increase the content of active polysaccharides, especially β-glucan in crops. In addition, the raw materials are readily available, the cost is low, and there are significant economic benefits.

Water dispersible granules

Water dispersible granules are provided containing (a) an agrochemical active ingredient that is solid at 25° C., (b) a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether phosphate or its salt, (c) at least one anionic surfactant selected from the group consisting of arylsulfonates or their formaldehyde condensates, ligninsulfonates, and polycarboxylates, and (d) lactose. The granules are water dispersible granules having good disintegrability and dispersibility in water and also having good storage stability. The water dispersible granules can be disintegrated and dispersed in a small amount of water. Accordingly, the water dispersible granules can be mixed with paste fertilizers to produce agrochemical-containing paste fertilizers, which can also be used in paddy fields and are useful water dispersible granules.

NITRIFICATION INHIBITOR COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF MAKING THEREOF

An improved nitrification inhibitor composition comprising UFP particles and a nitrification inhibitor, and optionally other components, is used as an additive for liquid and solid fertilizers, typically containing urea. The nitrification inhibitor particularly can be nitrapyrin and/or DMPP. Methods of making the compositions and their use are also disclosed.
