METHOD FOR PREPARING POROUS ANTIBACTERIAL FIBER BRUSH
20210315374 · 2021-10-14 ·

The present disclosure provides a method for preparing a porous antibacterial fiber brush. Fiber masterbatch made of ultra-fine reaming silica gel, silver-based antibacterial agent and other materials is melted, drawn, cut, polished and then dried to make the porous antibacterial fiber brush. A large number of micropores are distributed on the surface of the porous antibacterial fiber brush, which absorb cosmetic residues on the skin surface and tiny dirt in the pores, and realize efficient cleaning of the surface of human skin.

Proposed is a toothbrush having pairs of bristles configured in a bundle, each of the pair of bristles being composed of a first bristle having a fine end portion and a second bristle having a flat end portion, thereby more efficiently removing food remnants that are stuck between teeth or remain on the surfaces of teeth, and efficiently removing food remnants stuck between teeth and dental braces even when the dental braces are installed on the teeth.

Oral-care implement having color-communicative element

An oral-care implement comprises a mounting surface having a longitudinal axis and a transverse axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and a plurality of filaments outwardly extending from the mounting surface in at least one direction not parallel to either one of the longitudinal axis and the transverse axis, each filament having a free end terminating with a tip. At least some of the filaments possess at least one functional characteristic selected from the group consisting of filament's structure, composition, cross-sectional shape, tip geometry, and any combination thereof. A plurality of filament tips comprises a working surface that includes at least a first color and a second color different from the first color. The at least first color forms at least one scaled-up image graphically replicating the at least one functional characteristic, thereby visually communicating to a consumer that the oral-care implement includes filaments having certain functional characteristic(s)and that the oral-care implement possesses superior efficacy attributable to said filaments.

The cosmetic product applicator has an arithmetic mean height S.sub.a of a surface of the applicator in at least one portion A of the applicator that is strictly greater than 10.0 m, this height being calculated in accordance with the following formula:

[00001] S a = 1 A .Math. A .Math. .Math. z ( x , .Math. y ) .Math. .Math. dxdy , in which: A is the portion of the applicator in question, and x, y and z represent the coordinates of the surface of the applicator in an orthogonal system of Cartesian coordinates, with z corresponding to a measurement axis of the height.

Oral care implement and monofilament bristle for use with the same

A monofilament bristle (200) is disclosed that comprises coextruded core (210) and sheath components (220). The sheath component (220) has an outer surface (218) and surrounds a first portion (215) of the core component (210). A second portion (216) of the core component (210) protrudes from a top terminal end (203) of the sheath component (220) to form an exposed tip portion (203). In one embodiment, the exposed tip portion (203) of the core component (210) has an outer surface (217) that includes friction-enhancing features. In another embodiment, the exposed tip portion (203) is tapered and has an outer surface (217) with a first roughness and the outer surface (218) of the sheath component (220) has a second roughness, the second roughness being greater than the first roughness.
