Picnic table with detachable table and bench
A picnic table includes first and second structures detachably connected to each other by linking assemblies. One of the first and second structures is a table and the other of the first and second structures is a bench. A linking assembly includes a linking member, which has a first end portion connected to the first structure and a second end portion detachably connected to the second structure. When the second end portion is disconnected from the second structure, the linking member is retractable or rotatable toward the first structure.
Booth having a base, a table, a bench and a support leg
The booth has a base and a table is pivotably connected to the base. The table is movable from a stored positioned adjacent the base an in-use position where the table is positioned substantially perpendicular to the base. At least one bench is pivotably connected to the base. The at least one bench is movable from a stored position adjacent the base, an in-use position that is substantially perpendicular to the base. A support leg is pivotably connected to the table and to the at least one bench. The support leg is disposed to extend in a direction perpendicular to the table and the at least one bench when the table and at least one bench are in the in-use position.
Collapsible mobile desk
A mobile desk system that allows for the transportation of a seat, a desk, and additional materials by a single user. The desk and associated chair combine to form a transportation unit that can be operated by a user with one hand. The transportation unit can also carry additional equipment. Once the transportation unit is at the desired location, the equipment is offloaded and the desk and chair are set up per the user's needs.
Serving Apparatus
A serving apparatus is provided to minimise risk of injurious events in a hospital or care setting. The serving apparatus comprises, a serving member having a serving platform; a rotation mechanism in rotatable communication with the serving member; a stand in communication with the rotation mechanism, the stand having a connecting portion; said connecting portion being arranged to reversibly couple the stand to an item of furniture; wherein the rotation mechanism is arranged to provide reciprocal rotation of the serving member between a stowed position and a serving position. The serving apparatus of the present invention aims to minimise the risk of falls or injurious spillages and may also maintain the healthy orthopaedic properties of furniture during mealtimes, without necessitating an awkward seating position wherein said orthopaedic properties become substantially defunct.
Seating Device Having a Support Member
A stool having a seat, a lower support member or support, and a post is described. The lower support member contacts the seat adjacent all or a portion of the periphery of the seat for providing support for the seat and a person seated on the seat. The lower support member may cover the bottom of the seat. The stool has both a post support mount or neck and a brace structure or collar for attaching the seat and lower support member to the post. The seat and lower support may be made of plastic. The stool may be part of a folding table having a tabletop and a frame supporting the tabletop and attached to the stool.
Table and seating arrangement
A folding table and seating arrangement includes a pair of table tops, each of the table tops having a table top frame. A folding framework supports the table tops and facilitates folding the table tops between a first position and a second position, the folding framework defining a rotational axis with each of the table tops. A folding assist system offset forces during folding and includes a mechanical strut assembly attached to the folding framework and providing a biasing force. Cap elements have a receiving portion inserting into an orifice in the table top frame and aligned with the rotational axis to receive a tubular cross. The cap elements provide low friction and have tabs that clip into corresponding slots in the table top frame.
Portable desk
A portable desk (10) which comprises a main body (12), at least one wheel (18) engagable with the main body (12), and a support element (14) engagable with the main body (12) at a position which is at or adjacent to the or each wheel (12). The desk (10) can be arranged in two different configurations: in the first configuration, the main body (12) is preferably free standing and arranged such that the support element (14) is disposed at a vertically uppermost end of the main body to present a work-surface (16) to a user; whereas in the second configuration, the main body (12) is arrangeable such that the wheels (18) are in contact with the ground to allow the desk to be pushed or pulled by a user. A method of converting such a portable desk into a hand-cart, and a method of converting such a portable desk into a stowable volume are also provided.
Vehicle receiver hitch-supported cargo rack transformable into a picnic table with benches
An open-top cargo box transformable into a picnic table with attached benches releaseably attaches to a skeleton carrier equipped with a draw bar that engages a vehicle receiver hitch. When configured as a cargo box, a first bench functions as a floor of the box, the centrally-folded table top functions as a rear wall, and the second bench functions as the front wall. Four side panels, each of which is rigidly secured to one end of a bench and pivotally secured to a corner of a table top half, function as side walls. When transformed into a table with attached benches, the first bench and its attached side panels are lifted upwardly and rotated rearwardly 270 degrees, while unfolding the table top. Detachable end braces interconnect the ends of both benches, forming a rigid structure. Two folding leg assemblies beneath each bench support the entire structure.
Integrated foldable table and bench assembly
A table and bench assembly that is configurable between a first position and a second position. In the first position the table and bench assembly is configured to provide a seating arrangement for a user. In the second position the table and bench assembly is configured to provide a combined seating and table arrangement for the user. A seating support member and tabletop support member are provided. A frame is further included wherein the frame further includes a pair of first leg members and a pair of second leg members. A seat brace member is provided and provides support for the seating support member. A seat member leg assembly includes a first portion and a second portion and is pivotally coupled to the seat brace member. The tabletop support member includes a plurality of longitudinal support members that further include at least one notch operable to engage a clamping member.
Collapsible picnic table
A collapsible picnic table having a tabletop and table supports that extend downward from the bottom surface of the tabletop in a use position and are adjacent the bottom surface of the tabletop in a stored position. Seat supports, pivotally attached to a first seat, rotate simultaneously with and in the same direction as the table supports. In a use position, the seat supports extend downwards from the first seat and are adjacent the bottom surface of the first seat and extend outwards from the table supports in a first stored position. The seat supports are pivotally attached to the table supports and rotate orthogonally to the rotation of the table supports from the first stored position to a second stored position, where the seat supports are adjacent the bottom surface of the first seat and are adjacent the bottom of the tabletop and table supports.
