The present invention relates to a modular storage system for barrels. The modular storage system includes a base rick module, an aisle rick module, and an end rick module, whereby a plurality of each module type may be assembled to construct a rickhouse.

Shelving systems, in particular employing modular design, configured in assembled configuration and nested configuration. This includes a plurality of shelves and posts to maintain the shelves vertically spaced from one another at a fixed distance. Each shelf has a substantially flat panel and one or more depressions including first apertures vertically spaced from the panel. Each aperture to receive a first post end. The shelf assembly includes one or more shelf caps, secured above the depressions, each including one or more second apertures disposed, when its corresponding shelf cap is secured to the shelf, to lie over a corresponding first aperture. In assembled configuration the posts are vertically arranged such first and second ends of adjoining posts constitute pairs adjacent one another, one end of each of the pairs coupled with a first aperture, and one end of each of the pairs coupled with its corresponding second aperture.

A shelving system (11) and a bracket (10) for a shelving system comprising, the bracket (10) comprising a first end portion (19), an intermediate portion (18) and second end portion (20). The intermediate portion (18) comprises a flexible wall portion being moveable from an open position, in which the flexile wall portion is planar, to a closed position, in which the flexible wall portion is arcuate. In the closed position, the flexible wall portion can wrap around a portion of a post (14) and the first and second end portions (19, 20) engage to form a connector (32) engageable with an end of a rail (16) for supporting drawers.

A rack has a frame and a plurality of shelves. Each shelf has an enclosing frame member that has two first sides connected by two second sides, a connecting bar that connects the first sides at about the center of the first sides, a plurality of slots provided on the inner surfaces of the second sides, and a plurality of slats, each slat having opposing ends that are fitted into opposing slots at the second sides, and with each slat being connected to the connecting bar. At least one connector is provided for removably connecting each shelf to a portion of the frame.

A rack has a frame and a plurality of shelves. Each shelf has an enclosing frame member that has two first sides connected by two second sides, a connecting bar that connects the first sides at about the center of the first sides, a plurality of slots provided on the inner surfaces of the second sides, and a plurality of slats, each slat having opposing ends that are fitted into opposing slots at the second sides, and with each slat being connected to the connecting bar. Disclosed are a modular food product display stand and a related method for constructing such display stand. Such display stand may comprise a plastic tray having four top corners, four bottom corners, top receiving slots located at each top corner, and bottom receiving slots located at each bottom corner. The display stand may further comprise four insertable plastic feet installed in the bottom receiving slots, and four insertable plastic posts installed in the top receiving posts. The outer dimensions of a cross-section of the plastic feet may match the inner dimensions of a cross-section of the bottom receiving slots, and the outer dimensions of a cross-section of the plastic posts may match the inner dimensions of a cross-section of the top receiving slots. The display stand may also comprise a plastic topper with receiving slots at each corner of the bottom of the topper for receiving the plastic posts.

A shelf includes a main body with a plurality of support features formed therein. In one embodiment, each of the support features formed in the main body may include a board having an overmolded exterior. The board may have a plurality of apertures formed therethrough. The overmolded exterior extends through the apertures formed in the board. In another embodiment, each of the support features includes a removable board in an elongate recess that is secured in place by a cover. The boards may be wooden and add a desired strength and rigidity to the main body.

The present invention relates to a piece of modular furniture, comprising a set of elements which can be coupled by fitting to one another, wherein the set of elements comprises at least two pairs of vertical posts, wherein each vertical posts has housings in which conformations of horizontal slats are introduced, and at least one shelf having indentations which can be fitted to the vertical posts, and in that the two vertical posts of each pair reach the end user in a manner in which they are joined to one another by means of the horizontal slats, such that they form a single, ladder-like assembly unit; such that at least one shelf is supported at its ends on the horizontal slats with the vertical posts fitted in the indentations of the shelf, constituting the corresponding furniture just like that.

Various embodiments of the present invention are directed to an apparatus comprising a modular storage assembly. Various embodiments comprise a storage rack that includes a plurality of post members, a plurality of shelves, and a plurality of retaining rings. The plurality of post members include a plurality of grooves that extend around the perimeter of the posts. Further, the plurality of post members include male and female ends that enable the post members to form a post assembly. The plurality of shelves include a wall mount and a plurality of apertures, which define a toothed profile and which are disposed at the corners of the plurality of shelves. The retaining rings feature a generally tapered shape, a gap, an outer perimeter featuring a toothed profile, and an inner perimeter featuring annular ridges. The retaining rings are thus configured to couple the shelves to the post members such that the position of the shelves with respect to the post members is adjustable in the vertical direction. Various embodiments also comprise a door assembly that includes a plurality of identical door panels, a latching post and a hasp member. The door assembly may thus form a storage bin and/or a storage cabinet.
