Antifoam molecules containing a silica moiety and compositions
The present application relates to cleaning and treatment compositions comprising a material that reduces foam and methods of making and using such material and compositions. Such compositions comprise benefit agents that typically impact the performance of antifoams yet in the present compositions antifoaming properties of antifoams are maintained.
Gas permeable ophthalmic lens material and gas permeable ophthalmic lens of such material
A gas permeable ophthalmic lens material comprises a tetraethoxysilane and an ionic silane. The ionic silane comprises positive charges and negative charges. The lens made therefrom thus comprises positive and negative charges, thus the gas permeable ophthalmic lens is hydrophilic, and prevents adhesion of bacteria in allowing the surface of the human eye to breath. A gas permeable ophthalmic lens made of the gas permeable ophthalmic lens material is also provided.

PREPARATION OF VEGETABLE OIL-BASED MONOMERS FOR USE IN THERMOSETTING RESINS
The present embodiments herein generally relate to thermoset resins that are derived from vegetable oil based sources, including fibrous plant sources. The utilization of plant based oil as starting materials makes the technology a green alternative to currently available solutions. This, coupled with the novel synthetic methods that are utilized, results in a transformation of the plant based oils into useful, durable, and resilient thermoset resins.
