Attachment arrangement and piece of furniture
The disclosure relates to an attachment arrangement adapted to connect a first furniture part to a second furniture part. The attachment arrangement comprises a first attachment part adapted to be inserted into a recess in said first furniture part along a first axis, and a second attachment part adapted to be inserted into a recess in said second furniture part by a relative motion along a second axis. The second attachment part comprises at least one elongated ridge having a length and a height extending in a ridge plane, the ridge plane having a normal forming an angle to the first axis, which angle is smaller than 30, wherein said at least one elongated ridge is formed on top and/or side surfaces of the second attachment part. The disclosure also relates to a piece of furniture comprising a first furniture part, a second furniture part and an attachment arrangement.
FLOATING SHELF APPARATUS
A floating shelf apparatus that includes a mounting bracket and a shelf. The mounting bracket is coupled directly to a support surface such as a wall and the shelf is mounted to the support surface to hang the shelf from the support surface. The mounting bracket includes a first portion that is coupled to the wall, a second portion having an S-shape that extends from a first end of the first portion, and a third portion having a linear shape that extends from a second end of the first portion. The shelf includes a ledge portion upon which items may be supported and a mounting portion that facilitates mounting the shelf to the mounting bracket. The mounting portion has a mounting element that interacts with the second portion of the mounting bracket to mount the shelf to the mounting bracket.
Shelf system improvements
An improved shelf system often has differently configured shelves, at least some of which may receive attachments along a perimeter portions thereof. Those or others can provide bins for storing material as well internal to the shelves or along the perimeter portions.
Modular cabinet with hidden clamping system
The present invention includes a system for quickly and simply manufacturing semi-custom cabinetry utilizing a hidden pin joining system. The hidden pin joining system allows panels of a cabinet, or other items, to quickly and securely join together, with significant load bearing ability. The joining pin designs allow for discretely joining pieces together to create custom cabinetry during installation. The specially designed drill bits allow the system to work seamlessly. Using CAD/CAM machinery, the drill bits can cut stock pieces that can be taken to installation sites, and formed into custom cabinetry for kitchen, closets, or any other desired shelving units.
Connecting device between components of a piece of furniture
A connecting device between components of a piece of furniture includes a casing capable of being received in a first seat and in a second seat obtained respectively in a first and in a second component of the piece of furniture, and including a first and a second radially expandable region to engage respectively the first and the second component in correspondence of the first and the second seat, a tie rod received inside the casing with axial sliding power towards and from a locking position, and including a first segment in enlarged section and a second segment in enlarged section susceptible of engagement respectively with the first and the second region to determine a radial expansion of the casing when the rod is moved in the locking position, and an eccentric element arranged to engage a head of the tie rod and axially move it towards the locking position when the eccentric element rotates around its main axis.
Combination of a support device with a seat of a shelf for furniture shelves with optimised load transfer
A shelf-supporting device suitable for creating a reversible connection of a shelf with an opposite shoulder of a piece of furniture includes a shelf bracket having a main body with a solid section in its front area, from a front surface of which a connection pin protrudes, and a profile shaped so that at least a portion of the upper surface of the main body does not come into contact with the upper internal wall of the seat, in which the main body is housed, and which is defined within the shelf when the shelf-supporting device is assembled into the shelf.
MODULAR ENCLOSURE SYSTEM
A modular enclosure system includes a plurality of anchor rails configured to be mounted to a surface such as a wall to which the modular enclosure system is to be attached. The modular enclosure system includes a first partition having a plurality of partition segments and a second partition having a plurality of partition segments. The first partition and the second partition are each coupled to a first rail and a second rail of the plurality of anchor rails.
Device for joining parts of furniture and furnishing accessories
A joining device for parts of furniture and furnishing accessories, of the shelf unit, bookcase, drawer unit, bed frame, seating type and the like, includes a casing or container body suitable for being inserted in a seat formed in one of the components of the item of furniture to be joined and is provided with an expansion bushing externally projecting with respect to a first end or front open end of said casing or container body and suitable for engaging with a further seat of a further component of the item of furniture to be joined to the component wherein the casing or container body is inserted. Said joining device includes a cam mechanism for a linear motion of actuation means co-operating in an expansion deformation movement of the expansion bushing and simultaneous expansion of at least one portion of said casing or container body.
ARTICLES WITH ONE OR MORE VIEWABLE OBJECTS THEREIN
An article includes at least first and second members. A decorative object is within the second member. Interlocking features are adapted to removably interlock the first and second members together. The interlocking features include a channel and a rail that are complementarily shaped so that the rail is receivable within the channel to removably interlock the rail with the channel. At least the second member is formed of a translucent or transparent material so that the decorative object within the second member is visible through the member.
Support device for furniture shelves
A shelf-supporting device for the reversible connection of a shelf with shoulders of a piece of furniture includes a main body having a movable engagement system, to which a pin is connected. The movable engagement system slides with respect to the main body between a first non-operating position, in which the pin does not protrude from the shelf, and a second operating position, in which the pin protrudes outwardly from a transverse edge of the shelf. The movable engagement system has two distinct parts, coupled together, and the connection between the slide and the pin may be an interference coupling, a shape coupling, or another type of coupling. This shelf-supporting device makes it possible to miniaturize the pin by drastically reducing its diameter, thus improving the aesthetic impact of the housing hole in the shoulders, and may be made modular by using pins of different diameters and materials.
