METHOD FOR PRODUCING POLYHYDROXYALKANOATE AND USE THEREOF
An objective of the present invention is to provide a production method that enables PHA (e.g. PHA powder) to be produced with high productivity. The above is achieved by providing: a method for producing a polyhydroxyalkanoate, including the steps of (a) preparing an aqueous suspension that contains a polyhydroxyalkanoate and an alkylene oxide-based dispersing agent and has a pH of not more than 7 and (b) spray-drying the aqueous suspension prepared in the step (a); and the like.

A method for continuously preparing graphene powder directly dispersed in an organic system, including: mixing an aqueous graphene oxide dispersion, an emulsifier and an oil-soluble monomer followed by pH adjustment and dispersing to obtain a pre-emulsified dispersion; subjecting the pre-emulsified dispersion to an emulsion polymerization reaction in the presence of an initiator; introducing a reducing agent to reduce graphene oxide; and subjecting the reaction mixture after emulsion polymerization to spray drying to obtain the graphene powder. Equipment used in the preparation method is also provided herein.

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing thermoplastic polymer particles, and the thermoplastic polymer particles, the method comprising the steps of: (1) extruding a thermoplastic polymer resin through an extruder; (2) spraying the extruded thermoplastic polymer resin through a nozzle and then spraying a gas to the sprayed thermoplastic polymer resin through a plurality of sprayers so as to granulate same; and (3) cooling the granulated thermoplastic polymer resin.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING RESIN PARTICLES AND DRYER
A method for producing resin particles includes drying resin particles in a wet state by passing, without circulating, the resin particles through a drying tube together with a first gas, the resin particles being ones that undergo pressure-induced phase transition. The drying tube has an inlet through which the resin particles are fed into the drying tube, at least one gas blowhole through which a second gas is blown over the resin particles passing through the drying tube, and an outlet through which the resin particles are ejected from the drying tube, and the second gas is blown out of the gas blowhole at a velocity of 50 m/s or more.
Method for preparing polymer microparticles by spray process
The present invention relates to a method for preparing polymer microparticles by a spray process, wherein a polymer solution obtained by dissolving a polyester-based polymer in ethylene carbonate (hereinafter, referred to as “EC”), which is a solvent, is sprayed at a low temperature hydrocarbon or alcohol solution, thereby preparing frozen EC/polymer microparticles, the frozen EC/polymer microparticles are dissolved in a salt aqueous solution, thereby dissolving and removing EC, and the residual EC in water is removed by washing.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SPRAY-DRIED POWDERS
Methods and industrial scale set-ups for manufacturing spray-dried powders are provided. During the process, a solvent is used. The process is done batchwise such that the emulsification mass ratio is low when removal of the solvent is started. Preferred solvents are isopropyl acetate and ethyl acetate.
