The plurality of natural fibers each contain a microorganism or an enzyme. When the composite resin molded product is 100% by mass, a content rate of the plurality of natural fibers each containing the microorganism or the enzyme in the composite resin molded product is 10% by mass or more and 99% by mass or less. At least one of the plurality of natural fibers is exposed on a surface of the composite resin molded product. At least a part of a surface of the at least one of the plurality of natural fibers is coated with a hydrolyzable coating resin.

A wire rope has a core rope made of steel; a covering layer, which is made of a composite resin, covering the outer peripheral surface of the core rope; and multiple side strands, which are made of steel, wound on the outer peripheral surface of the core rope covered with the covering layer. The composite resin constituting the covering layer is obtained by blending cellulose nanofibers with polypropylene serving as a matrix.

A fibrous cellulose-containing material capable of significantly improving resin strength and a method of preparation thereof, as well as a fibrous cellulose composite resin excellent in strength. The fibrous cellulose-containing material contains fibrous cellulose which is a carbamate-modified microfiber cellulose having hydroxyl groups, part or all of which are substituted with carbamate groups, and having an average fiber width of not smaller than 0.1 μm, and contains powder that is non-interactive with the fibrous cellulose. The fibrous cellulose composite resin contains fibrous cellulose which is the above-mentioned fibrous cellulose-containing material, and part or all of the resin is powdered resin. The method for preparing a fibrous cellulose-containing material includes adding at least either of powder that is non-interactive with fibrous cellulose and a dispersion thereof, to a dispersion of carbamate-modified microfiber cellulose to obtain a mixed liquid, and removing the dispersion medium from the mixed liquid.

A biodegradable composite may include a biodegradable plastic polymer having a biodegradability of from about 80 percent (%) to about 95% when measured according to a biodegradability test in accordance with an ASTM D6400-19 standard and a bio-derived fiber. A polymeric matrix of the biodegradable plastic polymer may have a tensile strength of from about 30 MPa to about 45 MPa and an elastic modulus of from about 2600 MPa to about 3600 MPa. The bio-derived fiber may have a tensile strength greater than the tensile strength of the polymeric matrix of the biodegradable plastic polymer and an elastic modulus greater than the elastic modulus of the polymeric matrix.
