METHOD FOR PRODUCING COATING LAYER WITH SCRATCH RESISTANCE AND FLEX RESISTANCE, LAMINATED STRUCTURE, AND COATING COMPOSITION
A method for producing a coating layer with scratch resistance and flex resistance, a laminated structure, and a coating composition are provided. The method includes coating the coating composition on a plastic substrate and performing a curing operation on the coating composition to form a cured coating layer. The coating composition includes a polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane, a multifunctional epoxy resin, a cationic light initiator, and an organic solvent, and the polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane has a cage-like structure. The curing operation has a baking temperature that is within a range from 75° C. to 200° C., a baking time that is within a range from 30 s to 120 s, and an UV curing energy that is within a range from 250 mJ/cm.sup.2 to 1,250 mJ/cm.sup.2.

Normal temperature-curable hard coat composition
The present invention is a normal temperature-curable hard coat composition containing at least (A) a polysilazane compound having structures shown by the following formula (1) and (B) an alkoxysilane compound. The ratio of [a] the number of Si—H bonds in the polysilazane compound and [b] the number of alkoxy groups in the alkoxysilane compound is in a range of [b]/[a]=1.5 to 3. The present invention provides the normal temperature-curable hard coat composition which has excellent workability on outdoors, cures at normal temperature, improves surface hardness of plastic materials, and is used as an alternative material to glass. ##STR00001##

A process for modifying an expandable curing bladder for a tire, which bladder has a surface intended to come into contact with a tire casing is provided. The process comprises a step of applying to the surface a layer of a silicone rubber composition comprising a first liquid organopolysiloxane bearing chain-end alkenyl groups, a second liquid organohydropolysiloxane and a photoactivatable hydrosilylation catalyst, and a step of exposing the silicone rubber composition covering the surface to irradiation with ultraviolet-visible light.

Provided are a hard coating composition for a flexible window cover film, a hard coating layer obtained therefrom, and a flexible window cover film including the same. More particularly, a hard coating composition for a flexible window cover film which includes a high molecular weight epoxy polysiloxane resin, thereby satisfying surface properties such as excellent hardness, wear resistance, scratch resistance, and pressing resistance, and also having excellent flexibility so as to be appropriate for use in a flexible display panel, a hard coating layer obtained therefrom, and a flexible window cover film including the same.

The present disclosure relates to self-sealing tires, a process for making said self-sealing tires and the use of a silicone composition cured via a condensation cure chemistry to form a self-sealing layer designed to function as both (i) a self-sealing tire puncture material, i.e., to seal puncture holes in the tread region of tires if/when punctured by a foreign body and (ii) as an adhesive for sound-absorbing foams adapted to reduce the noise generated by tires during travel.
