The present invention relates to a polyurethane composition with antimicrobial properties, a polyurethane foam or coating comprising said polyurethane composition, an article prepared from said composition, foam or coating, a process for the preparation of said composition, the use of a complexing agent and an antimicrobial agent for the preparation of said composition or for imparting antimicrobial properties to a polyurethane composition, and a kit of components for preparing said composition. A cooperative effect is observed when specific complexing agents are combined with specific organic antimicrobially active components within the polyurethane composition.

Hydrogels are provided that include an antimicrobial agent and a cross-linkable urethane-based polymer (CUP). The present disclosure provides a high-temperature nano-composite coating and a preparation method thereof, and a small bag flexible packaging coating. The high-temperature nano-composite coating provided by the present disclosure controls the fiber length. Moreover, high-temperature reinforcing filler and high-temperature expansion filler are introduced, to make the coating have ultra-high strength at high temperature without cracks caused by shrinkage at high-temperature. In addition, nanopowder, high-temperature skeleton filler and other additives are introduced to make the coating be uniform and stable and reach a slurry state similar to toothpaste. There is no precipitation and stratification during the placement process. Small packaging can be realized to facilitate construction and operation. Besides, the coating has a good bonding to furnace lining, and will not fall off from the furnace lining, thereby prolonging the service life of the furnace lining.

A biodegradable display protector comprises a top layer; an antimicrobial (AF) layer beneath the top layer; a core layer formed of biodegradable material beneath the AF layer; an adhesive layer beneath the core layer; and a bottom release layer beneath the adhesive layer. The bottom release layer may be peeled off to allow the screen protector to be adhered to a display screen. In the embodiments, biodegradable polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or biodegradable polylactic acid (PLA) may be used for an inflexible protector whereas biodegradable thermoplastic urethane (TPU) may be used for a flexible protector. A thickness of the screen protector may be between about 0.08 mm to about 0.23 mm.

ANTIMICROBIAL COATING COMPOSITIONS AND RESIDUAL ANTIMICROBIAL COATINGS RESULTING THEREFROM

Aqueous coating compositions are disclosed that are capable of forming residual antimicrobial coatings having improved performance related to residual efficacy and duration. In various embodiments, an antimicrobial coating composition comprises at least one antimicrobial compound, at least one durable matrix forming compound, and optionally, at least one performance-enhancing additive. The antimicrobial compound is selected from non-silane quaternary compounds and quaternary silanes. The durable matrix forming compound is selected from polymers, non-polymeric organic compounds, inorganic substances, additional antimicrobial substances, reactive silanes, and non-reactive silanes. The performance-enhancing additive is selected from a polymer, a solvent, an inorganic substance, a surfactant, a crosslinker, a surface modifier, and chemical species capable of forming a sol-gel.
