MULTILAYER HEAT SHRINKABLE FILMS
The present invention relates to a polymer blend and to multilayer heat shrinkable films containing at least a layer made of said polymer blend, to flexible containers made of said film, such as bags, pouches and the like, useful for packaging articles, in particular food items. The invention also relates to a process for the manufacturing of such multilayer heat shrinkable films.
MODIFIED POLYETHYLENES
A composition includes polyethylene; a multifunctional co-agent having a functionality of 3 or greater, where the multifunctional co-agent is from 100 to 2000 ppm based upon the polyethylene; and a free radical generator, where the free radical generator is from 5 to 100 ppm based upon the polyethylene. Such composition may be utilized to form modified polyethylenes.
POLYMER COMPOSITION WITH HIGH FLEXIBILITY AND FLAME RETARDANCY
The invention relates to polymer compositions used for preparing conjunction devices. The conjunction devices comprise one or more elements including a static/moving current medium or communication medium; and a halogen-free polymer composition surrounding the element(s). The polymer composition includes a linear very low density polyethylene (VLDPE) composition and one or more polyolefin-elastomers. In addition, the polymer composition includes a flame retardant filler.
ELONGATED ARTICLE WITH GOOD FLEXIBILITY AND HIGH FLAME RETARDANCY
The invention relates to elongated articles and polymer compositions used for preparing the elongated articles. The elongated articles comprise an inner structure/one or more elements including a static/moving current medium or communication medium; and a halogen-free polymer composition surrounding the element(s). The polymer composition includes a linear very low density polyethylene (VLDPE) composition and one or more polyolefin-elastomers. In addition, the polymer composition includes a flame retardant filler.
POLYETHYLENE COMPOSITIONS, AND ARTICLES MADE THEREFROM
The invention provides a composition suitable for use in pipe applications, the composition comprising: an ultra-high molecular weight ethylene-based polymer having an intrinsic viscosity from 5 to 50 deciliters/gram; a polyethylene resin comprising a first molecular weight ethylene-based polymer component and a second molecular weight ethylene-based polymer component, wherein the polyethylene resin has a density from 0.930 to 0.960 g/cc; a thermoplastic polyolefin elastomer having a density of from 0.850 to 0.910 g/cc; and, optionally, a fluoropolymer.
VERY LOW DENSITY POLYETHYLENE WITH RAPID CRYSTALLIZATION RATES
Ethylene copolymer compositions having a density of from 0.860 to 0.910 g/cm.sup.3 exhibit rapid crystallization behavior. The ethylene copolymer compositions comprise a first ethylene copolymer, a second ethylene copolymer and a third ethylene copolymer, where the number average molecular weight of the first ethylene copolymer is greater than the number average molecular weight of the second ethylene copolymer and the third ethylene copolymer. The ethylene copolymer compositions are useful in the formation of monolayer and multilayer films.
Cellulosic Composites Comprising Wood Pulp
The present invention discloses cellulosic composites that include mechanical or chemical pulp, and methods for producing such cellulosic composites. Embodiments of such composites may exhibit improved mechanical properties and moisture resistance when compared to composites derived from conventional cellulosic feedstock.
Lignin Composites Comprising Activated Carbon For Odor Reduction
The present invention relates to lignin compositions and methods for producing lignin composite materials. Composites of this invention substantially reduce or eliminate odor emanating from lignin that would otherwise be present.
Lignin Composites
The present invention relates to compositions and methods for producing lignin composite materials. Composites of this invention have improved moisture resistance and mechanical properties that are desirable.
CROSSLINKABLE POLYMERIC COMPOSITIONS WITH METHYL-RADICAL SCAVENGERS AND ARTICLES MADE THEREFROM
