PROTECTIVE RUBBER TRACK SHOES FOR EXCAVATOR
Provided herein is a protective rubber track shoe for an excavator, which includes a first-stage rubber mix and a second-stage rubber mix. The first-stage rubber mix consists of a natural rubber, a chloroprene rubber, a butadiene rubber, a styrene-butadiene rubber, a tire reclaim rubber, a 120-mesh rubber powder, zinc oxide, stearic acid, an anti-aging agent 3100, an anti-aging agent CTU, paraffin wax, an intermediate super abrasion furnace carbon black and an aromatic oil. The second-stage rubber mix consists of the first-stage rubber mix, sulfur, an accelerator CZ and an auxiliary agent.
POLYMER COMPOSITE, USE OF SAID COMPOSITE IN PREPARING ARTICLES, PROCESS OF PREPARING SAID COMPOSITE AND ARTICLES COMPRISING SAID COMPOSITE
The present invention refers to a polymer composite that comprises sand preferably medium, at least a load, at least a resin selected from among dicyclopentadiene polyester resin (DCPD) and resin PET and at least a phase-compatibilizing additive and/or flexibilizing agent of the polymer structure. Further, the present invention refers to process of preparing said composite besides the use of said composite for preparing some articles including sleepers. This composite presents several advantages when compared to the materials used today for preparing sleepers as it is more versatile than steel, more available and as effective as wood, more durable than the concrete as it comprises an optimized composition that combines ideal physical-chemical properties to exercise the function for which it was intended.
Process for regenerating a monolithic, macro-structural, inter-penetrating elastomer network morphology from ground tire rubber particles
Crumb rubber obtained from recycled tires is subjected to an interlinked substitution process. The process utilizes a reactive component that interferes with sulfur bonds. The resulting treated rubber exhibits properties similar to those of the virgin composite rubber structure prior to being granulated, and is suitable for use in fabricating new tires, engineered rubber articles, and asphalt rubber for use in waterproofing and paving applications.
Rubber composition comprising a specific crumb rubber
A rubber composition is based on at least an elastomer, a reinforcing filler, a crosslinking system and a crumb rubber, the said crumb exhibiting a content of isoprene elastomer of greater than 80 phr in the composition of the crumb and the crumb rubber exhibiting a fraction by weight of carbon black ranging from 31% to 35%.
RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR INNER LINER AND PNEUMATIC TIRE
The present invention provides an innerliner rubber composition having an excellent balance of sheet processability and air retention properties, and a pneumatic tire including the rubber composition. The present invention relates to an innerliner rubber composition, containing a rubber component; a mixture of a fatty acid metal salt and a fatty acid amide; an oil; and a C5 petroleum resin, the rubber component including, based on 100% by mass thereof, at least 70% by mass of a butyl-based rubber, the mixture being present in an amount of 0.8 to 3.2 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component, the mixture, the oil, and the C5 petroleum resin being present in a combined amount of 6.0 to 16.0 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component.
MECHANOCHEMICAL SYNTHESIS OF POLYMER-COMPATIBLE ORGANOCLAYS
A method for producing a clay/polymer composite may include choosing an intercalating agent from among organic constituents of a polymer matrix, forming a polymer-compatible organoclay by mixing and milling an intercalating agent with a clay, and adding a polymer-compatible organoclay to a polymer matrix.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ASPHALT COMPRISING RUBBER FROM END-OF-LIFE TIRES
A method for producing asphalt comprising a heat treatment step, wherein the rubber granules deriving from an end-of-life tyre granulation process are subjected to a temperature of between 80 and 300 C., for a period of time necessary in order to obtain rubber granules with a density of between 1.0 and 1.5 g/cm.sup.3; and a mixing step wherein the rubber granules from the heat treatment step are mixed with stone aggregate and bitumen in order to obtain asphalt.
