A composition comprising: a polyvinyl chloride resin; a first rubber component; a second rubber component; at least one copolymer; at least one low temperature plasticizer; at least one filler comprising copper dioxide; at least one heat stabilizer; at least one internal lubricant; at least one antioxidant; and at least one biofouling agent.
SELF-SINKING AND AIR PERMEABLE PLASTIC MATERIAL
A composition comprising: a polyvinyl chloride resin; a first rubber component; a second rubber component; at least one copolymer; at least one low temperature plasticizer; at least one filler comprising bismuth trioxide; at least one heat stabilizer; at least one internal lubricant; at least one antioxidant; and at least one biofouling agent.
Chemically functionalized renewed rubber composition
The renewed rubber of this invention can be used in rubber formulations that are used in manufacturing a wide array of rubber products, including tires, power transmission belts, conveyor belts, hoses, and a wide array of other products. The present invention more specifically discloses a method for manufacturing an environmentally friendly, chemically functionalized, renewed rubber composition having a highly desirable combination of physical properties and which exhibits excellent processability comprising the steps of (1) blending a micronized rubber powder with a processing aid and a chemical functionalizing agent to produce a blended mixture; (2) processing the blended mixture under conditions of high shear and low temperature to produce a reacted mixture; (3) adding a stabilizer to the reacted mixture to produce the chemically functionalized renewed rubber composition.
PRESSED PRODUCTS MADE OF A CROSSLINKABLE MATERIAL, METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION AND FURTHER PROCESSING THEREOF TO PRODUCE ELASTOMER-BASED MOULDED BODIES
Compacts synthesized by cross-linkable material based on an elastomer-containing powder or pelletized material and a method for producing these compacts show a very good suitability in the further processing of these compacts to form crosslinked elastomer compounds and shaped bodies and for the substitution of raw rubber or raw rubber-containing compositions.
SUSTAINABLE BARRIERS
A sustainable barrier including a waste material and a binder is provided. The binder is mixed with the waste material and configured to bind the waste material into the sustainable barrier. The binder includes a catalyst configured to enable the binder to bind the waste material into the sustainable barrier. The sustainable barrier has a maximum load rating of at least 25,000 pounds.
ROOFING MATERIAL AND METHODS FOR MAKING THE SAME
A roofing bitumen composition includes a paving grade bitumen feedstock, a low MW polyolefin, and 9-60% of a material selected from the group of kraft lignin, recycled fibrous material, recovered bitumen from recycled asphalt shingles (RAS), reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP), recycled tire rubber (RTR), and combinations thereof. This roofing bitumen composition has a calculated reduction in scope 3 carbon footprint between about 5% and 60%.
Method for recycling nitrile rubber
A method of recovering nitrile rubber from water-containing crumbs includes crumb-like nitrile rubber using an extruder in which a screw is disposed inside a barrel so as to be capable of being rotationally driven. The barrel is formed with at least a washing zone. The method includes supplying washing water to the washing zone at a water pressure of 0.2 MPa or higher while mixing the crumb-like nitrile rubber and the supplied washing water in the washing zone, thereby washing the crumb-like nitrile rubber.
SCRUB SEALER COMPOSITION, METHOD, AND APPLICATION BOX
This disclosure relates to a method of preparing a scrub sealer. The method includes preparing an asphalt emulsion, and preparing a premixture of at least two different types of aggregate. The method also includes passing the asphalt emulsion and the premixture through a mixer to form the scrub sealer.
Composition comprising a polyamide block and polyether block copolymer and a crosslinked rubber powder
The invention relates to a composition comprising, relative to the total weight of the composition: from 20% to 90%, preferably from 40 to 70%, by weight of at least one polyamide block-polyether block copolymer, and from 10% to 80%, preferably from 30% to 60%, by weight, of at least one crosslinked rubber powder notably derived from used tires, from 0 to 5% of additives, preferably from 0.1% to 4%, notably from 1% to 2%; from 0 to 40% of compatibilizers, preferably from 5% to 20%, notably from 10% to 15%.
Process for regenerating a monolithic, macro-structural, inter-penetrating elastomer network morphology from ground tire rubber particles
Crumb rubber obtained from recycled tires is subjected to an interlinked substitution process. The process utilizes a reactive component that interferes with sulfur bonds. The resulting treated rubber exhibits properties similar to those of the virgin composite rubber structure prior to being granulated, and is suitable for use in fabricating new tires, engineered rubber articles, and asphalt rubber for use in waterproofing and paving applications.
