The present invention is directed to a pneumatic tire having a tread comprising a vulcanizable rubber composition comprising, based on 100 parts by weight of elastomer (phr): (A) from about 20 to about 100 phr of a solution polymerized functionalized isoprene-butadiene rubber having a glass transition temperature (Tg) ranging from −100° C. to −50° C., (B) from 0 to about 40 phr of a polybutadiene, (C) from 0 to 20 phr of a process oil, (D) from 40 to 80 phr of a resin having a Tg greater than 30° C., and (E) from 100 to 180 phr of silica.

The present invention is directed a tire comprising two rubber components which are co-cured together. The first rubber component comprises from 70 phr to 100 phr of a hydrogenated styrene butadiene rubber, 0 phr to 15 phr of a polybutadiene, 5 phr to 20 phr of a polyoctenamer, and 40 phr to 160 phr of a first filler. The second rubber component comprises 90 phr to 100 phr of a diene-based elastomer; and 20 phr to 160 phr of a second filler. Moreover, the present invention is directed to a rubber composition comprising a hydrogenated styrene butadiene rubber, 5 phr to 20 phr of a polyoctenamer, and 40 phr to 160 phr of a reinforcing filler.
Composition including polyester resin and method of using the same
The composition includes a polymeric resin having at least one ,-unsaturated ester group, a vinyl aromatic compound having at least one vinyl substituent on an aromatic ring, and an amino- or mercapto-substituted compound represented by formula (HD).sub.1-4-R. Each D is independently S or N(H) and R is a monovalent alkyl, alkenyl, or polyalkyleneoxy or a multivalent alkylene, alkenylene, or polyalkyleneoxy, wherein the alkyl, alkenyl, alkylene, or alkenylene are each interrupted by at least two O, N(H), N(H)C(O), SC(O), or OC(O) groups or a combination thereof. A method of repairing a damaged surface using the composition is also described.
PNEUMATIC TIRE HAVING TREAD WITH THREE ELASTOMERS
The present invention is directed to a pneumatic tire comprising a vulcanizable rubber composition, the vulcanization rubber composition comprising: 1) 100 parts by weight of elastomer consisting of 25 to 35 phr of a styrene-butadiene rubber, 25 to 35 phr of a polybutadiene, and 35 to 45 phr of a natural rubber or synthetic polyisoprene, wherein the styrene-butadiene rubber is a functionalized solution polymerized styrene-butadiene elastomer having a glass transition temperature Tg(A) ranging from 30 to 10 C. and having at least one functional group; the natural rubber or synthetic polyisoprene has a Tg(B) ranging from 60 to 70 C.; and the polybutadiene is a cis 1,4 polybutadiene having a Tg(C) ranging from 110 to 90 C., wherein Tg(A)Tg(B)25 C., and Tg(B)Tg(C)25 C.; 2) 60 to 80 phr of a prehydrophobated silica; 3) 1 to 10 phr of carbon black; 4) 1 to 3 phr of rubber processing oil; and 5) 5 to 25 phr of at least one hydrocarbon resin having a Tg20 C., wherein the weight ratio of hydrocarbon resin to rubber processing oil is greater than 8.

The invention relates to a tire having a tread of carbon black reinforced rubber composition containing a specialized styrene/butadiene elastomer with molecular weight profile containing a limited low molecular weight content and triglyceride vegetable oil.
Bio-Degradable Composition
Present invention is related to a bio-degradable composition having: PVC powder 100 phr, a plasticizer 4060 phr and an enzyme 0.54 phr. The bio-degradable material has degradation rate over 90% under anaerobic environment. The combination of plasticizer and enzyme give the present invention the ability of degrading. Because there is no additional bio material involved, the physical property and mechanical property of the present invention can be remained. Since the products made by the present invention only can be degraded under anaerobic environment, the products can maintain in good condition or qualities under normal circumstances with the existing of oxygen.
