COMPOSED ELEMENT AND REAR WALL CONSTRUCTION APPLIED HEREWITH
A composed element, such as a piece of furniture, wherein the composed element comprises at least a rear wall, as well as a number of constructional parts forming a whole in which the rear wall has to be provided. The rear wall forms the rear side of the composed element and includes one or more rear wall parts. The composed element comprises seats for installing at least one of the rear wall parts, which are configured such that the rear wall part can be slid into the seats starting from the rear side of the composed element from a position differing from the final plane in which the rear wall part will be situated in the final condition.
Fastening device template
A fastening device template for joining mosaic pieces together having two variants that are easy to install by unskilled labor so as to help them achieve professional result. The device can be for assembling individual planks that together make up a floor covering such as solid wood flooring and engineered flooring, or it can be used for tiles. It can also be used to assemble individual parts which, together, create a piece of furniture. In this application, the generic term “mosaic” or “mosaic units” will be used to describe the individual pieces which, as indicated hereinabove, have a multitude of possible uses. Mosaic units can be assembled in all possible XYZ plans: side-to-side, side-to-face, side-to-end, end-to-end, end-to-face. In order to do so, the invention has an elongated clip core. At least one wing member attached to and extending a portion of the length of the clip core, and resilient leg members adapted to be frictionally inserted within a groove of a mosaic piece.
ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT DESK
An adjustable height desk is disclosed herein that is configured for easy assembly and disassembly. The desk includes panels joined to form a support core for supporting a working surface. The desk also includes a planar base that is easily attached to and removed from the support core by way of protrusions on panels of the support core. The protrusions have locking holes formed therein. Through holes in the base receive the protrusions. Locking pins are inserted through the locking holes to form a compression fit. The locking pins can be sized for movement through a locking hole and for creating a compression fit when inserted into a locking hole. One end of the locking pins can be configured with a hook portion for mating with a locking pin insertion/removal tool. The tool can be utilized to insert and remove the locking pins.
Retaining system for joints
A retaining system for joints without utilising welds, screws or any other additional element or accessory, consisting in the making of a closing or locking mechanism, by means of a tab-slot configuration, using only the structure proper of the sections which are the object of the jointing, according to a first section (A) on which the cutting or machining that gives rise to the tabs and an embedment gap is made and a second section (B) that houses the slots and has to fit in the said embedment gap of section (A). Finally, the system is supplemented with the addition of tools that make it possible to release the system, thus making the joint demountable.
Joining system for furniture parts
In as first aspect of the invention, this is achieved by a joining system for furniture parts comprising female coupling recess formed in a first furniture part, a male coupling tongue projecting from an adjoining second furniture part, said female coupling recess being adapted to receive the male coupling tongue, said male coupling tongue comprising a first locking element configured for a snap joint interlocking engagement with a matching second locking element in said female coupling recess, the male coupling tongue being configured to be more flexible than the female coupling recess. The joining system comprises an upper guiding surface arranged on a first side of the female coupling recess on the first furniture part, forming an essentially non-resilient guide for the male coupling tongue upon insertion thereof, limiting movement of said male coupling tongue in a direction towards said first side of the female coupling recess. The joining system comprises a lower guiding surface arranged on a second side of the female coupling recess on the first furniture part, located opposite to said first side thereof, said lower guiding surface is configured to force the male coupling tongue to resiliently deflect whilst in engagement with said upper guiding surface upon further insertion thereof in a deflection movement towards said first side of the female coupling recess, until the first locking element of the male coupling tongue snaps together with the matching second locking element of the female coupling recess.
Modular furniture with tool free assembly
A modular furniture piece with integrated connectors comprises a first module with a plurality of first integrated connectors selectively located thereon. A second module is provided for fastening to the first module, and the second module has a plurality of second integrated connectors located thereon. The first integrated connectors register with the second integrated connectors when the first module and the second module are positioned with respect to each other in their assembled orientation.
PIECE OF FURNITURE
A piece of furniture, comprising a first and second furniture part, which are coupled to each other at an angle by means of mechanical coupling means. A female part is made as an oblong slot in the second furniture part with an insertion opening for introducing a male part. When coupling the first furniture part and the second furniture part to each other, the male part is brought from an insertion position in the insertion opening to an end position in the female part by moving the male part and the female part along each other. The male part is situated on a narrow end of the first furniture part and is positioned with its center line between the central plane of the first furniture part and the inner side of the first furniture part. The slot is realized in the inwardly directed flat side of the second furniture part.
Furniture carcass
Furniture carcass formed from panels assembled edge to edge by means of a groove (21) and loose tongue (11) assembly, a first (10) and a second panel (20) being joined by the edge of the first panel (10) hearing against the inner side (20a) of the second panel (20). The first panel (10) comprises a loose tongue (11), and the second panel (20) comprises, along the edge of its inner side (20a), a recess (21), complementary in shape to that of the edge with the bearing surface (15), a longitudinal assembly groove (21), complementary in shape to that of the tongue (11), and, beyond the groove (21), a bearing surface (25), recessed relative to the plane of its inner side (20a), for receiving the edge tearing surface (15). The assembly groove (21) has a bottom surface (22) and a small bearing surface (24) joined by a truncated concave ridge (27) and the loose tongue (11) has a complementary truncated ridge (17).
