Table with retractable power cables
A table for concealing one or more power adapters, each power adapter having a power cord, includes a frame, at least one table top supported by the frame, a volume at least partially concealed by the table top, at least one power outlet disposed within the volume for receiving the one or more power adapters, and at least one cord organizing member operably associated with one or more power cords, each cord organizing member being disposed at least partially within the volume for organizing the one or more power cords.
Interlocking panels, modules with interlocking panels, and a modular display case with interlocking modules with interlocking panels
Interlocking panels are assembled to form modules, and the modules are assembled to form a modular display case, for displaying, transporting and storing objects such as models, display items or valuable collectibles. The interlocking panels include interlocking side edge ball key tab including a resilient, compressible ball key, and ports for removably receiving the ball key tab and ball key.
Composed element, multi-layered board and panel-shaped element for forming this composed element
Composed element including at least two panel-shaped elements, which each have an edge zone in which coupling means are present in the form of a profiled part respectively extending in the longitudinal direction of the respective edge zone, as well as each including an end face extending transversely to the respective edge zone, wherein said profiled parts allow coupling the panel-shaped elements together in an interlocking manner, wherein at least one of the panel-shaped elements includes an arrangement which hides from view at least a portion of the profiled part formed at the pertaining edge zone at the location of the end face.
Drawer, drawer construction and method for manufacturing a drawer
A method for manufacturing drawers in which the drawers comprise walls, and a bottom. At least first and second walls comprise a tongue and a groove with locking parts. The respective groove is provided on the interior side of the first wall, whereas the respective tongue is provided on the distal end of the second wall. The first and second walls are manufactured of respectively one board.
FURNITURE WITH INTERWOVEN TAB AND SLOT JOINT
A joint for furniture uses alternating tabs and slots formed along an edge of first and second furniture panels. The panels are joined together so that tabs in the first panel are disposed in slots in the second panel and tabs in the second panel are disposed in slots in the first panel. This arrangement causes the slots to flex outwardly and the tabs to flex inwardly once assembled and creates residual stress in the assembled joint which stiffens the joint.
Interlocking frame assembly
ABSTRACT An interlocking frame for selective engagement with a plurality of adjoining interlocking frames is presented herein. The frame includes a frame body that defines an interior portion at least partially enclosed by a plurality of interior walls, a front face, a rear face, and a plurality of peripheral walls. The interlocking frame also includes a plurality of locking tabs each selectively and independently rotationally disposable between a retracted position and an extended position relative to the frame body. Each of the locking tabs has an arm that extends beyond the frame body when the locking tab is disposed in the extended position in order to engage with a corresponding locking slot of an adjacent frame.
Mechanical locking system for panels
A set including a first panel with a first main plane, a second panel with a second main plane and a mechanical locking device configured for locking the first panel to the second panel is described. The first main plane is arranged essentially perpendicular to the second main plane in a locked position of the first panel and the second panel. The mechanical locking device includes a first tongue and a groove surface at a first panel surface, and a locking groove and an edge surface at a second edge. The first tongue includes a first locking surface, the locking groove includes a second locking surface, the first locking surface is configured to interact with the second locking surface in the locked position, wherein the first tongue and/or the locking groove is/are flexible for facilitating locking of the first panel to the second panel.
MODULAR FURNITURE WITH STRESSED PANEL DOVETAIL JOINT
An article of modular furniture such as a drawer, case, cabinet, or table is provided. The article of furniture uses a first panel with a dovetail tab and a straight tab and a second panel with a dovetail slot and a straight slot. The first panel is flexed in order to insert the dovetail tab and the straight tab into the respective dovetail slot and straight slot and is then un-flexed to complete the assembly.
Panels comprising a mechanical locking device and an associated assembled article
A set of panels including a first panel and a second panel configured to assume a locked state in which a first main plane of the first panel is arranged at an angle of between 30? and 150? relative to a second main plane of the second panel. A separate tongue arranged in an insertion groove of a groove is configured to cooperate with a tongue groove provided in an edge section of the second panel for locking the first and second panels to each other in a first direction perpendicular to the first main plane, and the edge section is configured to cooperate with the groove for locking the first and second panels to each other in a second direction parallel to the first main plane. A bottom portion of the groove includes an elevated portion arranged at least in an outer section of the groove along the second direction, wherein an area of the elevated portion is at least 3% of an area of a rectangular bounded region extending along boundaries of the bottom portion.
