CONNECTOR FOR SOFA CHAIR FRAME AND SOFA CHAIR FRAME HAVING SAME
Disclosed are connectors, sofa chair frames and sofa chairs. A connector includes first and second members disposed in first and second directions, respectively. The first member includes a through hole along the first direction and a notch in the first direction on a peripheral wall of the first member to enhance an elasticity of the first member. The notch allows the through hole of the first member to couple with any one element in a plurality of first elements, where at least two elements in the plurality of first elements are different from each other. The second member has a first end coupled to a middle portion of the first member, and includes an opening recessed inwardly from a second end in the second direction to accommodate at least a portion of a second element.
Ottoman linkage device, frame body, and seat
Provided are an ottoman linkage device, a frame body, and a seat. The ottoman linkage device includes an upper link, a lower link, a middle ottoman link, a first front ottoman link, a second front ottoman link, a first connection link, a second connection link, a front ottoman bracket, and a middle ottoman bracket. The upper link or the lower link is rotatable under a driving force to make the ottoman linkage device unfold or fold. By changing the length of the first connection link and the length of the second connection link, the magnitude of the driving force of the first connection link can be adjusted.
Lift chair mechanism with zero-gravity position options
A lift and recliner mechanism for use in seating units is provided that allows the ottoman to be extended independently of the back recline. In some aspects, the seat pitch is changed through a linkage as the ottoman extends, and as the back reclines. In other aspects, the seat pitch is changed using a separate motor. The seating unit can be moved to a lifted position, a TV position, a fully-reclined position, or a zero-gravity position with the ottoman partially extended, the seat pitch partially changed and the back partially reclined.
Furniture member with powered mechanism providing lift and zero gravity positions
A furniture member powered mechanism providing both lift and zero gravity operating positions includes a first torque tube having first and second connecting links fixed thereto. The connecting links are each rotatably connected to a first or second connecting arm. The first and second connecting arms are rotatably connected to a gear housing. A positioning motor connected to the gear housing displaces a slide member coupled to the gear housing. Slide member motion displaces the first and second connecting arms, displacing and rotating the first torque tube. First and second connecting plates are rotatably connected to the slide member. A second torque tube is fixed at opposite ends to each of first and second arm rest portions of a furniture member base portion. The first and second connecting plates are also connected to the second torque tube such that slide member displacement rotates the base member.
SEAT RECLINE MECHANISM, ADJUSTABLE SEATING ASSEMBLY, AND METHOD
A seat recline mechanism for, and method of controlling motion of a first assembly relative to a second assembly within a seating assembly includes a mechanism having first and second bearings for attaching to the first assembly, and a hub for attaching to the second assembly. The hub includes first and second inclined surfaces, the second inclined surface being oppositely-facing relative to the first inclined surface. In use, the first bearing is arranged to act against the first inclined surface and the relative position of the first bearing with respect to the first inclined surface is adjustable; and the second bearing is arranged to act against the second inclined surface and the relative position of the second bearing with respect to the second inclined surface is adjustable. One or more such mechanisms are provided for the seating assembly.

Folding Chair with Bulbous Chair Adjustment Mechanism
A folding chair with a bulbous chair adjustment mechanism. A chair back support frame pivotally attached to seat support frame covered with user support fabric or webbing. The X-frame chair has pivotal forward and rearward leg frames. A terminal vertical fore-leg end has a bulbous cap thereon. Armrest frames pivot on back support frame and the adjustment mechanism includes the bulbous cap and a yoke (stem and tines). The stem pivots on the armrest. The tines pivot on the bulbous cap and fore-leg end. The bulbous cap encloses the U-shaped tine space and substantially fills the U-shaped space such that armrest rotation relative to the forward leg frame causes yoke to swing forward and rearward and move back support frame up-and-back. The cap enclosed U-shaped tine space avoids finger pinch.
