Composite white pigment
Disclosed is a composite white pigment having mixed together white pigments having different colorimeter values from each other by comprising substrates having various sizes and/or TiO2 having various thicknesses. The composite white pigment, according to the present invention, comprises: a first white pigment comprising a substrate and a white metal oxide layer formed on the substrate; and a second white pigment comprising a substrate and a white metal oxide layer formed on the substrate, and having a different colorimeter value from that of the first white pigment.
LiDAR reflecting dark colored pigments and vehicles comprising the same
A LiDAR reflecting dark colored pigment includes a core layer formed from a reflecting material and a first layer formed from a first absorber material or a first dielectric material extending across the core layer. A second layer formed from a second absorber material different than the third absorber material extends across the first layer and a third layer formed from a third absorber material or a second dielectric material extends across the second layer. The third absorber material is different than the second absorber material. The LiDAR reflecting dark colored pigment reflects less than 10% of incident visible electromagnetic radiation and more than 60% of incident near-IR electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths between and including 850 nm and 950 nm for all incident angles of the visible and near-IR electromagnetic radiation between and including 0° and 45°. A color reflected by the multilayer stack has a lightness in CIELAB color space less than or equal to 40.
Pigment compositions
The instant disclosure relates to a composition for topical application to the skin comprising a first pearlescent uncoated pigment having an average particle size of 25 um or less; a second pearlescent pigment having an average particle size of 25 um or less, completely or partially coated with one or more layers of metal oxides; a first mica having an average size of 42 um or less, completely or partially coated with one or more layers of red iron oxide; and a second mica having an average size of 25 um or less, completely or partially coated with one or more layers of titanium dioxide. It also relates to methods of using said compositions.
ASYMMETRIC PIGMENT
An asymmetric pigment including a first Fabry-Perot structure; and a second Fabry-Perot structure; wherein the first Fabry-Perot structure and the second Fabry-Perot structure have a similar hue angle within +/−45 degrees is disclosed. Other asymmetric pigments are also disclosed as well as methods of making the disclosed pigments.

The present invention relates to a system, which comprises: b) at least one first colour layer containing a dye and/or pigment, c) on the at least one first colour layer an effect layer containing at least one platelet-shaped effect pigment, wherein the at least one platelet- shaped effect pigment is composed of particles having an average length of 2 to 500 m, an average width of 2 to 500 m and an average thickness of at most 1 gm, and d) on the effect layer at least one second colour layer containing a dye and/or pigment, wherein each of the at least one first colour layer and of the at least one second colour layer contains a dye and/or pigment being no platelet-shaped effect pigment, wherein the at least one dye and/or at least one pigment included in the at least one first colour layer is different from the at least one dye and/or at least one pigment included in the at least one second colour layer, and wherein, at least if the at least one first colour layer has a sum of reflectance and scattering of less than 40%, the system further comprises: a) below the at least one first colour layer a lower layer containing a pigment and having a sum of reflectance and scattering of at least 40%.
Asymmetric pigment
An asymmetric pigment including a first Fabry-Perot structure; and a second Fabry-Perot structure; wherein the first Fabry-Perot structure and the second Fabry-Perot structure have a similar hue angle within +/45 degrees is disclosed. Other asymmetric pigments are also disclosed as well as methods of making the disclosed pigments.
TOY BUBBLE FORMING COMPOSITION CONTAINING GLITTER
A bubble forming composition including water, at least one surface active agent, at least one film forming substance, and a glitter comprising mica having a metal or a metal oxide deposited thereon. A bubble formed from this composition contains the glitter in the bubble wall while at the same time maintaining the structural integrity of the bubble.

The invention relates to glaze- and enamel-stable effect pigments having a top layer comprising at least one tin/antimony mixed oxide, which have improved stability, in particular at temperatures above 1000 C., in glazes, enamels, ceramic or glass-like materials.
Toy bubble forming composition containing glitter
An aqueous, bubble forming composition is provided that contains glitter, wherein the glitter is strongly both lipophilic and hydrophilic and therefore able to preferentially release from the contact surface of the bubble forming toy while maintaining the structural integrity of the bubbles.
