Vehicle seat

A vehicle seat includes a seatback, a support installed on the seatback, and a headrest having a stay inserted into the support. The support has a flanged head disposed outside the seatback and into which the stay is inserted, and a body disposed inside the seatback, and when the support is installed on the seatback, the head of the support depresses the seatback. The head has an overhang part, and a narrowed part that is provided between the overhang part and the body and that is narrower than the overhang part. A degree of narrowing of the narrowed part is set in such a way that, when the narrowed part of the head of the support depresses the seatback with the support installed on the seatback, the overhang part is in contact with a depressed surface of the seatback.

A seat headrest is provided that includes a mounting plate for attachment to a seat back of the seat. First and second side wings are mounted on opposite ends of the mounting plate. The side wings are mounted for pivotal movement between a retracted position against the mounting plate and a deployed position extending outwardly away from the mounting plate, and for sliding movement between the retracted position against the mounting plate and a further deployed position extending outwardly away from the mounting plate.

Head support for a pushchair

A head support for a pushchair comprises a support section, a seat connection section and a back support. The support section forms a U-shape and comprises an armature, comprising sides, that provides stiffness to the support section. The seat connection section is coupled to the support section and is for connecting to the pushchair. The back support is connected to the support section or connectable to the support section and configured such that, when connected to the support section, it prevents the sides of the armature from dropping relative to the back support in use.

An assemblage (10) is disclosed for assembling into a treatment chair for seating a subject undergoing a personal treatment, and subsequently disassembling for reassembly. The assemblage comprises a seat and backrest assembly (20), and a stand (assembly 50) for rotatably supporting the seat and backrest assembly. The seat and backrest assembly comprises a seat (21) and a (backrest 22), the seat comprising an upper side (23) on which the subject sits in use, and an underside (24) comprising a stand assembly mounting means (25) for releasably mounting the stand assembly. The backrest engages with the seat so as to be independently reclinable with respect to the seat, and is detachable from the seat and/or foldable onto the upper side of the seat so as to lie substantially flat therewith. The stand assembly comprises seat engagement means (51) for releasably engaging with the underside of the seat, hydraulic height adjustment (means 53) for hydraulically raising and lowering the height of the seat and backrest assembly in use, and legs (56) which are foldable between an extended position in which the legs extend laterally from the stand assembly to support the treatment chair in use, and a folded position in which they lie against or adjacent the hydraulic height adjustment means.

In one embodiment, an accessible salon chair is provided and comprises: a backrest; a rotatable base around a vertical axis; a set of rotatable armrests capable of being folded; a foldable seat that is connected to the backrest via at least one rotatable hinge, is capable of being folded and locked to accommodate the wheelchair; a platform comprising a flat surface and a base, is located below the foldable seat and capable of receiving and holding the wheelchair; a ramp connected to the platform and able to receive the wheelchair; and a pumping device connected to a bottom of the base of the platform capable of adjusting the height of the salon chair.
