An outdoor chaise lounge may include a frame, multiple legs coupled to and extending below the frame to support the frame, a seat member coupled to the frame to enable a user to sit or lay on the seat member, a lock-box fixedly supported by the frame that enables a user of the outdoor chaise lounge to store and lock items therein. The lock-box may include a lock-box door inclusive of a user interface that enables a user to lock and unlock the lock-box. A door member may be coupled to the seat member and have a closed position and an open position such that when said door member is in the open position, the user has access to the user interface on the lock-box door.

A lounge having a matrix mat and a plurality of modules capable of being inserted into the matrix mat. The lounge may include a frame configured as a rigid frame, a modular frame, and combinations thereof. The modular frame may further include a tri-cable suspension. The tri-cable suspension may be attached to a dilator retractor mechanism. The modules may be a mushroom cap module, a spider spring module, a web module, a lighting module, an electronics module, and combinations thereof.

The present invention provides for construction of a variety of useful objects including chairs and ottomans from multiple polymers or high density polyethylene (HDPE) by utilizing a living hinge; the hinge comprising a single contiguous sheet of stock, the stock having some material removed rendering the sheet flexible and pliable; wherein some material removed forms a mesh or matrix; wherein the mesh or matrix has been optimized to allow for pliability while eliminating points of excessive stress; wherein the single contiguous sheet is bent in a predetermined shape; the single contiguous sheet relaxing into that predetermined shape over time; and wherein the bent shape retains flexibility under load and while returning to its predetermined shape when no longer under load.

Said hinge assemblies comprises a first hinge assembly and a second hinge assembly. Said shade comprises a canopy assembly, a pocket and a frame assembly. Said hinge assemblies comprises a hinge slider and base assemblies and a hinge socket. Said hinge socket selectively rotates on said hinge bases so as to move said canopy assembly in a range of linear positions. Said frame assembly comprises said hinge socket. A submergible furniture is disclosed. Said submergible furniture comprises a threaded plugs, an outer shell and an internal cavity is configured to be partially submerged in a external body of liquid having a external liquid level. Said internal cavity is sealed by said outer shell and said threaded plugs. Said internal cavity comprises a gas portion and a liquid portion. Said liquid portion comprises an internal liquid level. Said submergible furniture is configured to be partially submerged in a external body of liquid. Said internal liquid level is higher than said external liquid level. Said internal cavity is selectively sealed with said threaded plugs. Said threaded plugs comprises a female plug portion and a male plug portion. Said female plug portion is welded into a portion of said outer shell. Said female plug portion is plastic welded into a portion of said outer shell.

A shelf attachment for use with a beach or lounge chair is formed of one-piece or has a first shelf half and a second shelf half hingedly and foldably connected to the first shelf half. An elongated member extends through interlocking projections extending from the first shelf half and from the second shelf half to hingedly connect the first and second shelf halves. A first clamp assembly is secured to the first shelf half and a second clamp assembly is secured to the second shelf half to mount the shelf to the rail of a chair.

A dynamic furniture system includes a first frame portion; a set of rollers mounted to the first frame portion; a second frame portion including one or more rockers having a roller-interface surface having a curved profile; wherein the set of rollers interface with the roller-interface surface of the rockers such that the second frame portion is moveable relative to the first frame portion; a set of one or more electromagnets mounted to or integrated with the first frame portion or the second frame portion; a set of one or more magnetically-interactive elements mounted to or integrated with a different one of the first frame portion or the second frame portion; and an electronic control system configured to vary a parameter of electrical energy supplied to the set of electromagnets over time to induce back and forth motion of one of the first frame portion or the second frame portion.

A modular furniture seat assembly comprises a seating portion having a front end, a rear end, a pair of opposing side edges, and a seating connector component on each of the opposing side edges. A back portion is provided and has a lower end, an upper end, and a pair of opposing side edges. The lower end of the back portion connects to the rear end of the seating portion. A portable beach chair for cooling a person while relaxing or basking in a warm environment is provided. The portable beach chair comprises a chair having a body support portion and a back support portion with the back support portion hingedly connected to the body support portion and releasably securable in a desired angular position. A water reservoir secured to the back support portion holds a predetermined amount of water. A showerhead is fluidly connected to the water reservoir with the showerhead positioned above the back support portion and directing a water flow from the water reservoir in a general direction toward both the body support portion and the back support portion. Upon introducing water through the showerhead from the water reservoir, the water flow through the showerhead cools the person thereby eliminating any need for the person to access a hose or go into a waterbody to cool off.
