Flame retardant resin composition
The present invention relates to a flame retardant resin composition including (A) 100 parts by weight of a blend resin composition including a styrene copolymer and a polyester elastomer, (B) 1 to 30 parts by weight of an epoxy resin, and (C) 1 to 30 parts by weight of a phosphor-based flame retardant agent. The flame retardant resin composition has improved flame retardant properties and flexibility and is used for coating a wire and a cable.

A thermosetting powder coating material includes powder particles containing a thermosetting resin, a thermosetting agent, and a surfactant. The amount of the surfactant is about 0.1 ppm or more and about 8.0 ppm or less on a mass basis.

A process of forming a lactide copolymer includes forming a dimethylidene lactide molecule from an L-lactide molecule. The process also includes forming a functionalized lactide monomer from the dimethylidene lactide molecule. The process includes forming a mixture that includes the functionalized lactide monomer and a bisphenol A (BPA) monomer or a BPA-derived monomer. The process further includes polymerizing the mixture to form a lactide copolymer.

A process of making a polyester coated article is provided. The process comprises coating an article with a polyester composition to produce the polyester coated article; wherein the polyester composition comprises a) at least one rigid polyester; b) at least one polyester elastomer; c) at least one primary antioxidant; d) at least one secondary antioxidant; and e) at least one chain extending additive; wherein the composition has a enthalpy of melting of 3 cal/gm or less.

THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMER POWDERS FOR ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING AND THE USE THEREOF
The invention is in the field of additive manufacturing. According to a first aspect of the invention, there is provided an additive manufacturing process for producing a printed article, comprising the step of sintering a powder composition comprising a thermoplastic elastomer, wherein the powder composition has a melting onset temperature Tm,onset and a melting peak temperature Tm,peak, which are measured according to ISO 11357-1/3 (2009), wherein Tm,peak minus Tm,onset is 30 C. or less; and wherein a test article printed from the powder composition has a rebound resilience of 50% or more, measured according to DIN 53512. According to a second aspect of the invention, there is provided a method of manufacturing a powder composition suitable for additive manufacturing sintering processes comprising the steps of: (a) providing a starting material comprising a thermoplastic elastomer; (b) heating the starting material of step (a) or the size-reduced material of step (c) to a temperature sufficient to increase the melting onset temperature of the material, thereby obtaining an annealed material; and (c) reducing the size of the starting material of step (a) or the annealed material of step (b) into a powder having a D50 particle size value of 20-150 m, thereby obtaining a size-reduced material, wherein size reduction step (c) is performed before or after heating step (b).

The resin-coated metal sheet for containers includes a resin coating layer (A) having a multilayered structure mainly composed of a polyester resin on at least one surface thereof. The resin coating layer (A) includes a resin layer (a1). The resin layer (a1) adheres to the metal sheet, contains (i) a polyester resin, (ii) a phenolic resin, (iii) a metal alkoxide compound and/or a metal chelate compound, (iv) an epoxy resin, and (v) at least one selected from the group consisting of polyamine resins, polyamidoamine resins, and polyamide resins, and is mainly composed of the polyester resin. Preferably, a polyester film (a2) is disposed on the resin layer (a1).
