A heat transferable label component for a garment or other clothing item or article is disclosed which is preferably produced using all digitally controlled manufacturing methods. The label component comprises a carrier layer, a release layer, an optional primer layer, a color design layer, a transition layer and at least one adhesive layer. The color design layer displays an image on the label, and the transition layer fixates the image and renders it wash and/or wear resistant. The at least one adhesive layer is positioned on the transition layer, and is preferably applied thereto via a selective laser sintering (SLS) process, wherein a powder layer is spread on the surface and fused with a laser. The adhesive layer can be a double layer comprising a white reactive adhesive layer that undergoes a crosslink reaction to become a thermoset and a substantially clear thermoplastic adhesive layer.

A polymeric tape comprises a facestock extending lengthwise, the facestock including a polymer. An adhesive layer is on a first surface of the facestock. Tear-cuts are formed into at least one longitudinal edge of the facestock and extending inwardly, the tear-cuts being provided all along the at least one longitudinal edge of the facestock.

The present disclosure provides adhesive mounting articles that permit sliding movement along a primary path, even while the article is fixed between a mounting object and a mounting surface. The adhesive articles can allow user precise control over the location and orientation of his or her mounting object, particularly frames.

Described is a filament-bearing masking tape extending longitudinally and formed from and including a filament and a base tape having a first edge and a second edge parallel to the first edge. The base tape includes a carrier having upper and lower sides and extending longitudinally with a first adhesive on the lower side having a first adhesive thickness, and a second adhesive having a second adhesive thickness greater than the first adhesive thickness on the upper side, and a release liner attached to the second adhesive. The filament extends longitudinally, parallel to the first edge of the base tape, closer to the first edge than to the second edge.

An article and a method of making the article. The article includes a polymeric film having a first major surface and a second major surface; and an inkjet pattern of a low adhesion backsize coating composition deposited on the first major surface of the polymeric film; wherein the low adhesion backsize coating composition has a viscosity between 1 to 30 cp at a printing temperature between 20 to 70 degrees Celsius.

An improved fastener tape assembly is shown and described. The fastener tape assembly includes a carrier component including a non-woven layer, a polymer film layer, an adhesive layer, and a release. The fastener tape assembly described herein may also be included in a z-fold assembly.

A decorative ornament for use on wrapping paper or the like includes an ornamental element, such as a ribbon flower or bow. The ornament for includes an attachment element for securing the ornament to wrapping paper. The attachment element includes a stack of adhesive pads. By peeling away the pads one at a time to selectively expose the next underlying adhesive pad, the decorative ornament can be used multiple times.

Installers for elongate foam masking tape have an elongate body that has a spine opposite a fore edge, which are separated from one another by opposing exterior surfaces, and has a material that prevents adhesion of an adhesive on each of the opposing exterior surfaces at a position adjacent to the fore edge and extending the length of the elongate body. The installers are used to insert tubular foam masking tape in the gap between body panels of an automobile vehicle, for example, and to adhere the tubular foaming masking tape to the rear surface of the body panels prior to application of paint thereto. Methods of installing tubular foam masking tape between body panels using the installer are disclosed as well.
