Digitally produced label transfer using selective laser sintering (SLS) methods
A heat transferable label component for a garment or other clothing item or article is disclosed which is preferably produced using all digitally controlled manufacturing methods. The label component comprises a carrier layer, a release layer, an optional primer layer, a color design layer, a transition layer and at least one adhesive layer. The color design layer displays an image on the label, and the transition layer fixates the image and renders it wash and/or wear resistant. The at least one adhesive layer is positioned on the transition layer, and is preferably applied thereto via a selective laser sintering (SLS) process, wherein a powder layer is spread on the surface and fused with a laser. The adhesive layer can be a double layer comprising a white reactive adhesive layer that undergoes a crosslink reaction to become a thermoset and a substantially clear thermoplastic adhesive layer.
Adhesive tape substrate with glass cloth and fluorine resin, and adhesive tape
An adhesive tape substrate production method disclosed in the present description includes the steps of decreasing the amount of a sizing agent contained in a glass cloth by heat; impregnating the glass cloth for which the amount of the sizing agent has been decreased with a dispersion of a fluorine resin; and heating the impregnated glass cloth to a temperature equal to or higher than a melting point of the fluorine resin. Thus, an adhesive tape substrate including the glass cloth impregnated with the fluorine resin is obtained. This method are more productive of adhesive tape substrates and adhesive tapes than conventional methods. In addition, adhesive tape substrates and adhesive tapes for which the occurrence of defects in appearance are reduced can be produced.
Method for producing sealing tape rolls
A method for producing sealing tape rolls of flexible, compressible foam having at least one external, radially oriented barrier layer comprises the steps of providing a foam web of flexible foam; forming a foam-barrier layer web by application of a barrier layer to a top surface and/or a bottom surface of the foam web; producing a plurality of sealing tape strips by introducing at least one continuous cut into the foam-barrier layer web in a longitudinal direction of the foam-barrier layer web and perpendicularly to the at least one barrier layer; and winding up each sealing tape strip of the plurality of sealing tape strips into a roll in such a way that the at least one barrier layer extends in the radial direction and is arranged on at least one of the two axial end surfaces of the roll.
Heat-applied gap finishing tape
A gap finishing tape for use with drywall applications includes a trim strip body extending along a central body axis, a hot melt adhesive extending along the central body axis, and a backing paper. The trim strip body includes a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface, a first side, and a second side opposite the first side, and is at least partially constructed from a metallic material. The backing paper is at least partially secured to the second surface of the trim strip body. The trim strip body is at least partially embedded in the hot melt adhesive.
Silicone adhesive composition, adhesive tape, and method for producing adhesive tape
A silicone adhesive composition includes 100 parts by weight of a peroxide-curable silicone, 1.2 to 3.2 parts by weight of an organic peroxide curing agent, and 2 to 9 parts by weight of an addition reaction-curable silicone rubber. An adhesive tape includes a base and an adhesive layer placed on the base, the adhesive layer being formed from the above silicone adhesive composition. The adhesive composition exhibits high load bearing capacity even in higher-temperature environments than ever before. The adhesive tape exhibits high load bearing capacity and good shelf life even in such high-temperature environments.

TAPE CASSETTE INCLUDING TAPE AND COVER FILM, AND METHOD OF CREATING LABELS WITH THE TAPE CASSETTE
A tape cassette includes a tape, a transparent cover film, and an ink ribbon. The tape has a thickness in a thickness direction and a width in a width direction. The tape is configured of a plurality of laminated layers including: a transparent base layer; a background layer having a width smaller than the width of the tape in the width direction; and a release layer constituting one surface of the tape in the thickness direction. The transparent cover film is to be bonded to the tape. The ink ribbon contains ink to be transferred to one of the tape and the cover film.
ADHESIVE SHEET
The disclosed adhesive sheet exhibits high anchoring performance and where separation between the substrate and the adhesive layer substantially does not occur when unwinding or re-peeling in actual applications. The adhesive sheet comprises a substrate including a urethane polymer component at least at a portion of a surface and a silicone adhesive layer that is in contact with the urethane polymer component, wherein the urethane polymer having a chain extender-derived hard segment and a polyoxyalkylene polyol-derived soft segment.
ADHESIVE TAPE
The present invention relates to an adhesive tape comprising a base material layer made of a flat yarn cloth, a first film layer made of a thermoplastic resin film layered on one surface of the base material layer, a second film layer made of a thermoplastic resin film layered on the other surface of the base material layer, and an adhesive layer layered on the surface of the second film layer opposite to the base material layer, in which the first film layer and the second film layer both contains a pigment.
Pressure-sensitive adhesive tape
A pressure-sensitive adhesive tape comprises a backing layer having a first and a second surface; and a first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer affixed to the first surface; wherein the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has an adhesive strength of 2.0 N/10 mm to 9.0 N/10 mm in absence of a solvent and the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape has a tensile strength in longitudinal direction of 45 N/15 mm to 80 N/15 mm.
