The present invention is also directed to the foldable side table itself, which can also include the members disclosed herein.
Joint for chair frame and chair including a frame having the joint and a seat attached to the frame
A joint to connect frame members to form a frame of a chair. The joint has a first receptacle to receive a leg in a first position in which the leg extends in a first direction to support the frame of the chair at a distance above a surface, the leg attached to the frame via a cord. The joint has a second receptacle to receive the leg in a second position in which the leg extends in a second direction, opposite to the first direction, so that the joint rests on the surface, the second receptacle having an axially-oriented slot along a sidewall thereof to allow the cord to pass through into a central portion of the second receptacle.
Folding seat support frame
A folding seat support frame includes an upper support frame detachably connected to a seat fabric and a lower support frame connected to the upper support frame, where the upper support frame includes an upper connector, short rods rotationally connected to the upper connector at a first limited angle, and upper connecting rods rotationally connected to the short rods at a second limited angle; the lower support frame includes a lower connector and lower connecting rods rotationally connected to the lower connector at a third limited angle; the lower connector and the upper connector are coaxially and rotationally connected; when the folding seat support frame is in an unfolded state, the lower connecting rods and the short rods are oriented to a side of the lower connector; when the folding seat support frame is in a folded state, the short rods are butted against the lower connector.
Portable chair
A chair may include a frame, a seat pan, a backrest, a pair of arm rests, and a plurality of legs wherein at least two legs may each provided with an inner leg and an outer leg and the inner leg is configured to telescope out of the outer leg, wherein the at least two legs may include a leg locking system for locking the outer leg to the inner leg when the chair is in an unfolded position, wherein the leg locking system may include a trigger housing, a trigger, and a latch, and wherein the latch may be configured to engage a bushing on the inner leg.
Foldable chair
A foldable chair includes backrest rods hinged to a seat unit, leg units, armrest units, a first foldable rod unit, and a linking rod unit. Each leg unit includes a sleeve member connected to the seat unit and slidably sleeved on a rear leg rod connected to the seat unit. Each armrest unit is connected to one of the leg units and one of the backrest rods. The first foldable rod unit is connected between the backrest rods to move the backrest rods. The linking rod unit includes an end connected to the first foldable rod unit, and another end pivotally connected to one of the backrest arm units, or one of the sleeve members of the leg units.
Collapsible support base for furniture with a flexible user support platform
A foldable support base for a foldable furniture with a flexible user support platform, in which a support frame has two side frame members, each pivotally connected to a load pivot joint along a load member with a load section extending beyond the load pivot joint which is pivotable about the first load pivot joint towards a center of the support frame. The load sections of the load members are configured for removably attaching a flexible user support platform therebetween. A load on the flexible user support platform results in a force component pulling on the load sections of the load members to cause the load members to pivot about the respective load pivot joints in a direction towards the flexible user support platform, thereby biasing to keep the side frame members to be spaced apart to maintain the support base in an extended configuration.
